I'm just wondering if AonE is still subbing this great series. Episode 10 aired recently, yet the latest ep from GotWoot is ep 6. Has AonE dropped this series, and if so, why? Its a great show!

jeesh .... we're not randomly dropping stuff. We love the series too... of course we're continuing.

There's some people that need to do stuff but haven't been around to do said stuff, before ep 7 can be released. 8 will be just after 7 (since 7 comes just before 8). We're still working on it regardless of what conclusions you draw on your own. Just wait patiently.

I wasn't trying to be insulting and/or impatient. I sincerly appreciate the work you people do, you can't imagine. Having to put up with the absolutely horrible subbing of Bakasan on Naruto is just one reason.

I was asking because you guys are usually pretty consistant on releasing new episodes, I was just wondering what was up regarding Gokusen.

well, ep 7 is out! yay!

i've started downloading it, so it'll automatically seed during the night, and tommorow i'll be able to watch it!

is ep 8 following to turn this into a double release?

oh, and as said before, Gokusen is about a teacher who is heiress to the Yakuza (jap Mafia) and she tries to hide her identity from the students.. it's also one of the few animes where everybody looks Asian and not just people, pretty cool, right?

look under series -> gokusen. The torrent is there. There's currently 10 seeds and 14 downloaders.

No dropping gokusen. Gokusen r0x. We're up to 10 already, jeesh! It's seeded! Jeesh.

Yeah... episode 10 was very nice... any info on if the series will stick to being 13 episodes long... or will it be longer?

I think they could end it out with the events that 10's preview for ep 11 hinted at... but I dunno.

Pretty sure it's going to be 13, but I'm hoping there's room for an S2 in there 'cause it's a really well-done series. Definitely some potential.

Then, going the full-GTO route (here's an angsty student. I'll win that student over by solving their problems. NEXT! Oh look, another angsty student, I'll win them over by solving their problems. NEXT! ....) would get tired pretty fast.

Yeah it might get tiring... but it is simply a fun anime to watch... that in my opinion the plot is just a plus... so that it goes the GTO route I wouldnt mind because i do not watch it simply for that...

Now... if they are able to mix in some imaginative and creative new plot ideas will simply make this series amazing...

Looks like AonE is going to finish it up. It's just not done yet. I was under the impression that it would be an IRC release.

I can't understand a whole episode without subs yet and til it's out on dvd in Germany... years can pass. Besides that German dubbed anime piss me off sometimtes even the German subtitles of Japanese dub anime suck ass. I always prefer fansubs. Its better then any dub or offical sub.

It looks like Gokusen is once again following in GTO's footsteps. Animesuki has episode 3 of Gokusen Live Action available for download from a new group. They announced they will follow up with episodes 1 and 2 shortly. Downloading now.

Gokusen live action 3 wasn't so bad, truth is, I liked it

It seriously looked like live actors trying to play the parts of cartoon characters. The expressions, sound effects, and side-speak, all looked much to similar to the anime. That type of light comedic approach to the live-action series may benifit it and set it aside from GTO, but I don't really care for it as a whole.
