We know he is the thirds grandson,so that means the 3rd had a kid right.Who is the 3rd's son,I know its not the 4th,that's not possible since he died 13 years ago,and Konohamaru is only 9.

i highly doubt that the 3rd hokage's son/daughter becaome a "no-name ninja" i suppose he/she is a part of the goverment of Konoha or maybe the country.

Would be cool if the 3rd's son/Konohamaru's father was in Akatsuki for some reason. The 3rd was hokage for a while, he was probably a pimp and had too many illegitimate children to keep track of. Anyways, there hasn't been that much emphasis on showing the families of all the genin.

KonohamaruCorps might be on to something. Perhaps 3rd Hokage's son/daughter has been long missing, and it's revealed that he's/she's part of the Akatsuki! TIME JUMP 10 YEARS! GROWN KONOHAMARU VS HIS FATHER/MOTHER!

It's possible his father could be a no-name, just because you're the son of a Hokage doesn't necessarily mean you'll be super-skilled also.

i agree maybe his son/daughter didnt want to be a ninja or wasnt cut out to be one. and konomaru talents will come from his grandfather becasue genes do skip generations. like a friends mom wanted at lease one of her kids to have their dads hair and eyes but her grandso ended up getting them.

As logical an explanation that would be, it doesn't fit. Naruto was just a baby when Kyubi attacked. Konohamaru is younger than Naruto, so he must've been born several years later.

That's right...I forgot that Naruto's 12-13 years old...

The strange thing is that...most of the genins have a jutsu that's is known in their clan. For example...Kiba's family has the special dog jutsus, Shikamaru's family has their shawdo jutsus, etc...Well, wouldn't Konohamaru's parents be teaching him instead of an elite tutor until he goes to the academy? The only genin whose parents (who are still alive) we haven't seen are Sakura's parents.

Konohamaru's parents might have died in other ways though. And we've heard Sakura's mother's voice at least, so we know she exists.

I remember there was somewhere in the manga, one of the chunnins/jounins, is related to the Hokage, with the same surname. Could be Konohamaru's uncle/father?
