What is the most ABSOLUTE DEFENSE

plus this anime seems to focus alot on "absolute defence" and then have them destroy afterwards. so what do you think is the absolute defence?

Well, I voted Neji just because he&#39;s so cool and using chakra seems to be alot more flexible than using sand or spider-armor. It doesn&#39;t weigh anything and lets you move around.

But everyone who has said running is right, the only absolute defense is either running or never getting into a fight at all.

Plus, defence isn&#39;t everything: you can have a truly, utterly unbreakable absolute defence, and if you don&#39;t have an equally strong offense you won&#39;t win a fight.

i had to vote for gaara because he seems to have multiple &quot;absolute defenses&quot; and unlike anyone else his first he doesn&#39;t have to use chakra because the sand moves on its own as explained so he&#39;s already got a headstart over everyone else. and when you do manage to get past that he has the sand covering his body which uses chakra like everyone elses and on the same level.

I actually think that the most effective one is Neji&#39;s. Yes, it was broken, but with a crap load of practice, I think that Neji will eventually be able to focus his charka onto that one blind spot so well that it will be like it has no blind spots.

true, But kidoumaru was like neji, he just used his web stuff to form a layer to protect him like gaara, but every defense will have a weak point. The chain is only as strong as it&#39;s weakest link.

id have to say that neijis is better in defense but it would also be hard to learn bc u have to release chakra from every tenketsu on ur body, but defense wise its better, but the only defect i c is that u run out of chakra fast

yeah but it still uses up chakra. Neji would eventually run out, when if gaara in the same position even if he is uncouncious the sand would still protect him.

neiji doesn&#39;t have absolute defense or anyone else....because absolute defense would be the one which will always be there no matter what.....neiji&#39;s kaiten uses huge amount of chakra output, gaara&#39;s initial defense can be broken with fast speed taijutsu....and plus his skin armor is not that effective because that too uses huge amount of chakra and kankuro said there are various weakpoints in gaara&#39;s skin armor. Kage bunshin is not a defense at all nor is kawarimi jutsu. so uptil now we haven&#39;t seen absolute defense, we still have to watch more of kimimaro&#39;s fight so we are not sure about that till now.

there is no such thing as an *absolute* defense; everything has a weakness. The strongest battleship can still be sunk, the best strategy has flaws, and no plan is foolproof----where there are advantages there are also weaknesses in one way or other. he he part of strategy is to exploit that.

Oh, and kaiten shouldn&#39;t have a blind spot. If you think about it, his Byakugan has a small hole missing from it. Spinning around rapidly, he&#39;s able to see all around him, a full 360 degrees, except that at any given moment, he has a small hole. That hole would be &quot;removed&quot; by the fact that he&#39;s spinning really rapidly, so what he couldn&#39;t see on any given moment, he&#39;d see the next. No?

The only absolut defense that I&#39;ve seen so far, is the one made by the sound nins. The barrier that kept the 3rd hokage in, and all of the anbu ninjas out. If that defense could have been broken then the third hokage would still be alive.
