Also check out Hybrid-Anime.net ('http://www.Hybrid-anime.net'). They host licensed anime, although they sacrifice quality for anime selection and speed of downloads for those poor 56k users.

I also mod the forum there. Unfortunatly the future for the website looks bleak at the moment, but hopefully with some help, we can not only keep the place running, but perhaps in the future even upgrade the server for a much bigger selection and better quality stuff. We may even get one which can stay open 24/7 instead of specific days, but if we did that we'd only allow posters that reach a certain post count and who keep posting. That would be to make sure that the site dosn't fail due to an overflow of leechers, and that we supply anime to those that contribute to the community and not simply sign up and stay silent all the frigging time.

I have a problem... I'm impatient and grumpy http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/tongue.gif. I hate bittorent and other p2p networks because I get stuck with d/l speeds of 7 or below. I run DSL.

I'm looking for sites with Direct Downloads. I dont really care what Anime's but I want to see a bunch of new ones i wish you would refer me to your favorite http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif but If you can come up with any sites that would be most appreciated.

Arigato,

i dont know much about direct downloads... but if you learn to use irc you can get new animes of bots at very high speeds, which basicaly acts like a direct download site... i think there are a couple of sites posted around this forum... but i'm to lazy to search for them... you could try the thread in at the sticky

http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=35 ('http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=35') read all the posts... some of them are direct download

Are you talking about Hybrid-Anime or my FTP?

Although your download is fast, my max upload is only 30KBps. Thus you won't get anything faster on my FTP.

If you mean Hybrid-Anime, then it's possible that the server that the media is hosted on only allows 30KBps per user, to reduce bandwidth usage for the company. Basically, that method often makes the servers cheaper. They could probably get a faster server, but it would mean paying more money.

You have to use a specific password for downloading eps and you have to have 100 posts to download films.

Yep, what he said.

There is a specific section in the forums stating the username and password you need to use.
