I dont think there is another way to make sasuke stronger w/o the sharingan. Withought the sharingan, kakashi would have lost to zabuza, Sasuke would have been beaten by one of the guys on kabuto&#39;s team, there would be no sharingan successor. Nothing is cheap in naruto.

I have to disagree. Copying things just by looking at them and not having to do sweet fuck all to earn them is cheap. Just look at the Sasgay/Lee situation. Lee busted his ass all his life learning and developing his taijutsu techniques just to have Sasgay come along with his freaky eyes and steal them. Its a disgrace.

Im not anti uchiha, sasuke, or itachi but i do think the sharingan is cheap, but not cheap for kakashi to have it, he probably had it given to him or by a friend or he stole it, where as the uchiha clan is just born wit it.

People hate Sasuke, because he&#39;s not Naruto.

Another reason is what&#39;s going on in the manga.

I personally don&#39;t think Sasuke is that bad. He has his bad moments, but he&#39;s a good guy, at heart.

But, I&#39;m still angry that he ripped off Lee&#39;s speed in one month, when it took Lee so long to do it. It seems cheap, because Sharingan, gifted or not, it&#39;s not possible to become that fast. Muscles are muscles.

There is a lot of personality in Naruto. However both Naruto (the character) and Sasuke have very predictable personalities since we have seen them over and over again. What makes Sasuke worse then Naruto? Nothing much. He is the main character after all, that and the fact that he is rather amusing at times, unlike Sasuke especially in later episodes. I actually liked Sasuke in the earlier episodes when his personally was more like Neji and less like Vegeta (Yah I making the DBZ comparison once again, so shot me).

I personally don’t understand why people feel the need to have a favourite character. These are the same people who have favourite bands, and favourite foods. This mentality just breeds close mindedness.

That is not the reason why I hate Sasgay. And I do think that it is cheap for Kakashi to steal jutsus and techniques with the sharingan.

I feel exactly the same even if Naruto is a little favorit but i like all the character even useless ones like Ino. But i know wouldnt like the anime or manga as much if only Sasuke was the main character cause like you said he is very predictable,cool,good loking and stuff. Naruto is funny,annoying etc,he is simple more real than Sasuke. The first time i saw Naruto was when my brother was watching a anime that his friends lend him. I didnt understand what my brother liked with the little kid who was yealling all the time and looked strange(the hairs in face). But after five minutes after i saw more of Naruto,the ninja stuff,many good character and i was hooked.


O what an anime/manga i would miss if i left my brother room earlier.

i can name a number of people who&#39;d own sasuke any day (just to list a few: the four, jiraya, gai, kakashi, oro, naruto, gaara, maybe even neji&#33;)
i know it might be unfair comparing adults to poor little sasuke, but i included them because they&#39;re alot of peoples&#39; fav characters

as you can see Vegeta never really got the whole staying on one side thing down

IF he was gone, the series would have ended at episode 19. only intense emotions and danger is the key to bringing out kyubi and sasuke&#39;s dying triggered that emotion because he wanted to fight him so bad.

Gai - CMON HES A JOUNIN LIKE KAKASHI&#33;&#33;
Kakashi - as stated above
Neji - .....?
Gaara - demon gaara
Jiraiya - no competition?
the forth - hes kinda dead?
Orochimaru - sasuke fought pretty well the first time.

I like Sasuke as a character over Naruto. But if Sasuke fought him now, he might have a chance to win, but if Naruto gives Kyubi a call, hes screwed.

I dislike (hate is such a strong work http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/tongue.gif ) Sasuke because he character type is an overused template. There are just to many of these characters types in anime. The dark brooding guy who falls to the dark side, only to be ultimately saved by the main character. Zzzz.

There is a lot of personality in Naruto. However both Naruto (the character) and Sasuke have very predictable personalities since we have seen them over and over again. What makes Sasuke worse then Naruto? Nothing much. He is the main character after all, that and the fact that he is rather amusing at times, unlike Sasuke especially in later episodes. I actually liked Sasuke in the earlier episodes when his personally was more like Neji and less like Vegeta (Yah I making the DBZ comparison once again, so shot me).

I personally don’t understand why people feel the need to have a favourite character. These are the same people who have favourite bands, and favourite foods. This mentality just breeds close mindedness. </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC: i believe vegeta eventually turned good in the heart during the buu saga. but only acted like a hard ass since he was such a bad ass. i think the only time he turned (after buu saga) &quot;evil&quot; is when he got possessed or whatever.

I have to disagree. Copying things just by looking at them and not having to do sweet fuck all to earn them is cheap. Just look at the Sasgay/Lee situation. Lee busted his ass all his life learning and developing his taijutsu techniques just to have Sasgay come along with his freaky eyes and steal them. Another note, Kyubi, nobody knows for sure just WHO Kakashi got his Sharingan eye from, there have been a bunch of different theories, and until Kishimoto-sensei actually includes it in the manga, nobody will know.

I think he is just interested in the quick powerup for his Curse Seal. It going from Level 1 to Level 2. Maybe he also wants to learn some of those forbidden techniques from Orochimaru. I don&#39;t think he plans on staying with him long term, kind of use and abuse him.

in a way i&#39;m glad that Itachi&#39;s power is very high. If Sasuke was to reach that level especially now or in the near future, he&#39;d be twice..no 100X as arrogant as he is now.

Something that i was thinking of is the lvl 2 curse seal and Sasuke. I wondered if he would have a transformation if/whenever he gets the lvl2 curse seal. So far the others who used it @ lvl 2 have ugly ass transformations...sasuke&#39;s doomed.
