they haven't put out a decent episode in a while. I'd recommend you read the manga as its by far better than the last few episodes of the anime....but you might end up hating episodes like this even more when you realize how they are butchering some of the great moments.
Having said that I believe it should start getting better really soon. Atleast I hope. It'd be awful if naruto turned into DBZ:/

Agree in lots of ways. I first saw 68 raw, but after watching it dubbed my view of it has kind of changed. I like it a little bit better now, the time wasting part pisses me off to. just have to get used to it.

They're called filler episodes, and yeah, they do piss me off too.

But all great animes do it, i.e. Dragon Ball Z. God knows how much time was wasted in that series. But still, you just gotta have patience to put up with it. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/cool.gif

yeah this is true...but you can do fillers in a good way. Eg naruto riding gamabunta&#39;s back or being chased by the bulls enroute to the chunin exam. They were atleast funny and contribute to character building.
Guess the last few have been dragged out just too much:/ Atleast Naruto is back soon he usually provides comic relief to make episodes like this bearable http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

and as far as i know, we dont talk about eps until 24 hours after the A/A release.

They could fight Hitler with guns-for-arms, who would look totally kickass, would start fighting the badass robo-nin army to the death&#33;

Exactly&#33; I&#39;m sick and tired of people comparing Naruto with the worst parts of DBZ. I say &quot;worst parts&quot; because overall DBZ was an excellent series. And so is Naruto&#33;
The only time your complaints will be taken seirously if the following examples happened:

1) They stand still for a long time after a battles begun( this has happen only once in Naruto so far and I see no problem bitching about that)
2) Furious screaming for half of the episode. (Has not happen yet)
3) Crappy animation during important battles(has only happen once, but I wish it didn&#39;t happen since it seems to create a sense of peril for some fans)

The show is a current base storyline, as in happens in real time, day by day. It&#39;ll be slow to some because of that but the story does progress.

The manga is much faster since it&#39;s still drawings and not animation, but a lot is happening in the show....

Then they wasted a few episodes about his abilities and crap. And now, it&#39;s the most common thing around because everyone friggin ninja in konoha knows it. (except anythign below chuunin, then again, they don&#39;t show anyone below chuunin fighting sand ninjas or big snakes).

So in a way, those programmars or animators or whoever are the ones who decide on what happens in episodes are pissing me off for wasting weeks just on 1 small thing that becomes so common later on. I used to think that fire-breathing jutsu was special because he was the only 1 i saw using it till now. How gay.

Another gay thing is how they make a big deal out of a problem, and then close it up with some gayass excuse and it ends like that. kinda like Gaara. Like, damn man, we don&#39;t even get to see anything special from him. then it&#39;s omg, he used all his chakra, now, run away, we&#39;ll get sasuke to chase him for 10 episodes, then have 1 minute of fighting between gaara and sasuke, and that&#39;ll end it. (I bet they&#39;re going to do this too... http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/sleep.gif) Now watch, they&#39;re probably going to make the next 5 episodes gay because of the preview, you can jsut tell. I&#39;m mean, all they showed was naruto waking up, and chasing a dog. Now, that&#39;s going to take up the whole 20 minutes to tell naruto what&#39;s going on and chase a dog. Then, they&#39;re going to end it with something gay like meeting up with konohamaru. Well, that&#39;s my guess, it&#39;s going to be something gay like that, won&#39;t be exactly that, and if they DO do it, it proves they&#39;re just gay (not the happy way either...)

But in a way, it&#39;s beneficial for them, and kinda bad for them as well. Since they make the episodes cover less of the story, they get to air more, which gets them more money with the commercials. Then again, people get annoyed, don&#39;t bother watching it, and just wait for a few months to watch a few episodes, that people who record or save it on something, in 1 day. So in that case, they&#39;re commercials don&#39;t get watched. (I hope they don&#39;t get watched either... bastards...)
