Naruto MMORPG

Appearantly there will be a Naruto massive multiplayer online roll playing game coming out in 2004 i dont know hoe it will be built up or how it works or anything i just know the site. www.narutorpg.com currently there are no info on this site just a banner saying "Naruto RPG under construction"

whats your thoughts on this one?


i think it can be very fun to play and it seems to be a diffrent layout than an ordinary rol playing game. you will have to cpmplete missions and stuff to get exp or so i heard.

That would be very cool. It would be stupid if the main characters were playable though because then everyone would want to be them. It would be cool if you could create your own character and choose which village you want to live in. A cool concept would be to have missions that you have to complete with 3 or 4 other people. And have the missions ranked from a to s class missions which you choose based on your level.

Do you know if this is a small online project or something a big developer is making?

i am almost sure that it is a fan creation but it got huge potential. but i hope you cant choose special skills like shraingan or byakugan, if you can the majority of players would walk around with bloodline limits.... i cant wait until they realease the game.

Well with the lvl of info they have on that site. Everything is guesses. I have thought for a while now Naruto would translate into a vary intresting MMORPG, but lets see where this gose before we go nuts over it

well you can think whatever you like and it may become a real shitty game but the fact remains that it got potential if it is done right and if he got rights to do it. i also think that he might get sued for it if he doesnt make an agreement with them or something. but it is possible to pay for a server yourself.

some Decent online games can be run off a cuple Dedecated Meacheans just hooked together. nothing as complex as FFXI but some Fun to play stuff none the less.

yea there are lots of fun online games and the community and the playability is more improtant than the graphics. ever played Tibia? made by Germans and yet a very popular online game.

keep dreaming, its impossible for it to be an mmorpg because they will lack the money for server capabilities that make up for a good mmorpg, such as 3rd gen. mmorpg server capabilities like WORLD servers...I see the graphics being no better than a DBZ mod for HL...This game will not even compare to Naruto for GBA. The guy who starting this is says he is very serious and expects this to be big while i expect him to get sued if ever =P

A Naruto MMORPG has a lot of potential. It would be really cool if:
- you can make your own ninja
- choose your country (the big 5)
- can unlock a character from a smaller ninja village (difficult)
- can unlock an advanced bloodline character (very difficult because 1% of the ninja&#39;s should have an advanced bloodline)
- could become a missing or ANBU member
- the jutsus have nice effects

the other side of that story is that if they dont charge a monthly fee they have no initiative to make the game good for you and keep you playing

if you pay someone a monthly fee they will continue to make money as long as they continue to make the game interesting for new people and keep the old people playing it
which means the game will keep on expanding and bugs will be fixed quickly

for a game where you only pay once on the other hand people only have to make you believe it&#39;s good. once you&#39;ve bought it they dont care that much about how much you play it.. a bit but it wouldn&#39;t be cost effective for them to keep modifying and updating the game
if you stop playing it after a week doesn&#39;t matter to them sa long as you&#39;re generally happy with it


as for an mmorpg which is free you&#39;ll be doomed to having slow servers,tons of ads, lameass players and grumpy admins

and then we can have different &quot;classes&quot;. for example like Summoners, and Genjutsu users, or Pure taijutsu like rock lee. perhaps we may have all 3, but evenly disrtributed powers.

yea that sounds nice. there should be one genjutsu specialist, one taijutsu specialist, one ninjutsu specialist and one that got equal of all three jutsu types.

i dont really know that the cpoyright laws state but i dont think you are allowed to make money on someone elses creation. i think its fine if its for free tho. if he charges a monthly fee he have to have an agreement with kishimoto or something.

While it is probaly possible to make a Naruto RPG if you have a good team who are willing to donate their time and some money. I seriously doubt a MMORPG will happen unless it was an official one.

whats sad is you nerds sweat an individual&#39;s creation like this...its a fan based game, either way u can get sued if u don&#39;t get money for it because its infringing on a name that is already licensed to tomy &amp; bandai..no freakin fan made game can compare to what i&#39;ve played on my gamecube (part1&amp;2 of naruto)&#33; so why yall are just sad cuz u cant own in LEVEL4 mode on GC..keep wishing for a pointless D&amp;D 1987 style game. I still have doubts in Monolith making the matrix mmorpg sometimes, but yet atleast they&#39;ve got people actually working on it..not a garage full of dorks.

Rune Scape was, well, the online only browser game/flash was pathedic&#33;&#33; I can&#39;t believe i know some people that go to the libary to play that.

Well about Naruto MMORPG:
It would be good to be able to do:
Create a Ninja (Start From the Starting, Chunnin was it???)
Work your way up....
Well...basicaly just based soely on the anime, that would be awsome.

For im ANBU&#33;&#33;&#33; It should be like Never Winter NIghts, or atleast with that mininmal graphics, hopefully the makers will make it in english.
