Well that sounds like you MUST post a poll.. If you dont got any ideas then you dont need to post a topic that is just crap. If you dont got any ideas dont post anything at all.. seriously.

yeah, all those stupid poll's. especially the "most tylish girl" topic. i mean, THEY ARE ANIME CHARACTERS, THEY DONT HAVE A STYLE OF THEIR OWN, THEY GET DRAWN http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/dry.gif

i's say. block the poll option, its only good for spamming and stuff. and create a meaningfull topic with a poll every week or so (poll of the week).

i think this mainly happens in the naruto anime forums. it's cuz all these stupid newbies flock to this board cause they're all like

I couldn't blieve how many there are, i checked earlier to see what's new on the forums and i was unpleasantly surprised to see stupid polls taking up the entire first page.

oh and i somewhat agree with r3n, but i don't care about seeing what people think the cutest couple is or stupid things like that...though i have posted on some of those in the past

Why do you think LCD (littlecooldude) made a topic saying that we need to start making normal rooms again, this means that gotwoot used to have most normal rooms, I know this since I saw it, If anything it would be more lively if people actually thought of good topics, I think alot of polls are made of lazyness, personally...

Alright here we go.

First off people have the right to make any topic that does not go against the rules if you think the topic is stupid don't post. Basically a topic only goes to the front page when people post in that topic. So by saying how stupid a giving pole is in fact its your fault that a topic you feel is more important is moved from the first page.

Its very simple as a Mod reguardless of if there is ANY merit to a pole does not matter if it is made within the rules. The post count effects nothing I'm a mod and I do NOT have a jounin post count in fact those who do have likely spent a lot of time playing games in general discussion. I do not respect a post count I respect the post the person makes.

Overall this topic is more pointless then the poles themselves you are simply wasting your time and raising your posts bitching at other people who you support by voting in a topic then posting how dumb it is. A vote in a pole can not bump it only a post and if you don't like a topic don't talk in it and it will go away. If there are 1000 people who want to talk about which anime character might have the cutest underwear you will never see then guess what it must be something worth discussing.

The forums are open to all opinions and topics that do not break the rules only those that do will be closed or monitored.

As a side note even if a topic has been done 1000 times if a new forum member would like to bring it up because they don't know they have every right to. If someone askes say is Naruto for kids perhaps they haven't seen any and would like to in fact know if it is so they don't waste time downloading it.

This topic is now closed if its made again I will give out warning to not only the creater but anyone who posts in it. If you see a spoiler PM a mod. If someone breaks a rule don't post someone broke it in the thread tell someone who can fix it. End of story.
