In the episode where Kakashi and Sasuke showed up at the end, I think that was done by Koreans.

Lately it looks like they are back to Japanese animators though.

You can tell who does it because in the closing credits it will say either Seoul (Korea) or a Japanese studio

Animators have to take breaks like everyone else. Would you rather of had no episode that week? http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/dry.gif

There is an obvious difference in quality, take for example Naruto vs. Kiba TERRIBLE QUALITY however only a few episodes later with Rock Lee vs. Gaara it is amazingly nice.

well after seein that picture where shikamaru and chouji where in the audience in an episode of naruto and the creater of naruto is a friend and i assume a staff member i thought he drew the episodes cause yu-gi-oh drawing style sucks and well sometime the artists just aren't doing to great so unless kishimoto is drawing himself it would just be pointless

The problem is, they need to learn to spend there budget more effecentiely so that every episode can be animated at least up to par.

The Naruto vs Neji fight didn't look as smooth as when Sasuke was on Orochimaru.
