Kanji and Photoshop

Is there a way I can type Kanji characters in photoshop?

I have all the WinXP stuff installed, fonts/IME etc, is tehre anythign else I need, or does it not work? I haven't been able to figure out, any help would be appricated!

It should work if you download a hiragana or katakana font. I've tried it before but I've never tried with direct input using any IMEs
