orochimaru made the sound nin not so long ago...but

kabuto and his 2 men were SOUND nin spies...but if they "became" leaf ninjas...HOW long was orochimaru planning this??? years?

so that must mean before orochimaru made sound nin, then he had kabuto and the 2 guys beome spies for him and to become "leaf nin"?

then did he already know his village would be called the sound nin?

and although most ninjas fight will their skills and chakra powers...the 3 sound genin used enhancements and weapon add-ons (i guess that kind of goes for the sand nin as well)

ex: dosus sound arm attachment, zakus air cannons, kin's bells...

are they good fighters without it? like in taijutsu or do they know ninjutsus that dont involve weapons? then again...skills arent just what you can do with your hands, its also weapons.

i think they use chakara with their weapons. like temari uses some chakara to move her fan so fast it makes the wind crazy.

and dosu , maybe he releases chakara through that device witch turns his chakara to a damaging sound

Yeah Oro's been planning this for quite some time. And the sound-nin's do have to use chakra in order for their weapons to work. Zaku definately had to use chakra for his.

ex: during the forest of death he moves all the sound his arm produces stright into rock lee's ear

Does Kin use any chakra when she uses the bells? I don't think she does. I hear a lot of criticism about her how weak she is.

From the only time she ever did anything (against Shikamaru) she used no Chakra, except maybe to enhance the sound of the bell's in Shika's ear, to produce that replication illusion. Not sure though. Seems like they all specialized in channeling their chakra through some kind of amplifying device to do what they want.

from what i understood, the string itself (attached to the bells) was actually made of chakra, much like the strings kankuro uses to manipulate karasu. i could be wrong, but that's the impression i got.
