welcome to the world of the missing manga, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get this one I barely managed to grab the first volume and half of the second from mirc but i really don't remember where any more, a group used to translate it but they stopped doing it, really too bad because i've seen volume 19 in japanese and the guyver is fuckin kickass, upgrades everything, so you might only find some chinese or japanese versions but looking for them on the net takes ages and it isn't worth it, the guyver anime series can be found on any p2p program like Edokey the crappy OVA too the series is better it's also available on DVD my friend has it it's his all time favorite so sorry you won't find the guyver manga in english, if you do though definately let me know i've been wanting to read this manga for such a long time now, so your best bet is p2p programs and look for the 12 eps and the OVA isn't that bad but crappy if you've seen the 12 episodes and i suggest you check dailymanga.org maybe they still have the name website and irc channel for the group that did the first two volumes of the manga

searched high and low but came up with nothin except
</div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>Unfortunately Viz Communications has put the English Translations on what they call &quot;Indefinite Hiatus&quot; </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>
i think they&#39;re no torrent links out there with the manga and if there were any scanned manga they&#39;d only go up to volume 7 in english.

heh, i&#39;ve seen and known about the series for years (one of the first anime&#39;s I had ever watched), I had no idea that there was an OVA. I might have to look into getting some of the mangas though, since the series did leave the story quite open, with lots of things unexplained.

i&#39;ve seen one of the live action movies, the &#39;Dark Hero&#39; one (can&#39;t remember who stared in it). Just seemed pretty cheap though, totally americanised the average view and most wouldn&#39;t have understood what was going on. (to some1 who hadn&#39;t seen the first series, my brother really thought it was sh*t http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I think i&#39;ll have to track down the animeated movie though... when is it set in relation to the firs/second series?

I have all the individual Guyver English comic issues (by Viz) up to where they put the project on perma-hold. Arg&#33; (Then they did the same thing with the Patlabor manga after volume 2.)

The American(?) live action films were pretty bad, although the first was by far the worst, Mark Hamill included. The whole thing could have been called &quot;Power Rangers&quot; and no one would have known the difference.

I remember watching the OAV when manga released it with one ep per tape.

Actually Mark Hamill was the cop/reporter (i forget which) who turned into that cricket like creature at the end of the movie.

Mark Hamill wasn&#39;t the guyver he didn&#39;t age well at all.

The first one was crap i&#39;ll admit it but Dark Hero was decent IMO and it starred David Hayter (voice of Solid Snake) as the Guyver.

I saw part of the anime and liked it but i haven&#39;t seen the OVA yet (i have it just haven&#39;t watched it)

the first movie which was done by steve wang later did power rangers

the second one was done by the guy who who wrote xmen the screenplay

david hayter was in the second one

this is a quote from a reliable site
Contrary to popular belief Mark Hamill did NOT play Sean, the character who becomes the Guyver. Yes Sean looks a little like Luke Skywalker but it is not Mark Hamill. Mark Hamill played Max Reed the CIA agent

i knew mark hammil didn&#39;t play guyver

Jack Armstrong played Sean Barker in the first Guyver movie.

Mark Hamill&#39;s role was Max Reed

you can get boot leg copys of it but what good are those just get the vhs and a tv tuner capture card and record it onto the computer thats what i plan to do

when i buy all those things i probably will do that

i think we should start a petition to viz who owns the rights to guyver to either sell it to someone who will finish it or finish the translation and episodes

also what do you think of my sig its temporary until i get one that i made my self

I downloaded some books until they released by skipping some books, and sometimes their downloads are just plain old hassles to get to.
