ok, so i got kinda tired of just straigh mug shots of characters,nd wanted to more accuratly portray gaara in a sig as the crazy guy he is in the series, and i remembered his little flashback right after gai knocks his sand out of the way, saving lee, where the pictures all fragment, and thought 'perfect', so here's my fist shot at it:

now, the question i have is: is it way to confusing and hard to see?

In my opinion, the idea is good, but where the lines are placed is bad. I'm not sure where to put them, but it just doesn't look right to me.

aight good idea, but the best way to display framentation would be to do this.
so instead of just drawing lines through it,
1. cut you image in pieces
2. offset each of the pieces a little

that should help the look of it. Also your color scheme is too abrasive, try something more subtle. and the image in the middle is barely recognizable. Good concept just keep tweaking. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

i agree with lcd, maybe instead of putting the lines over everythingyou should try to ust put them over the teddy bear, and make it look like just that part is shattered, otherwise its very good

i'd promote the inverse colour effect to a different level, and then turn the transparancy down. But that's just me http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

It looks.. really, really busy..

It took me a couple of seconds of looking at it to see that it was really Gaara... on the left side. I'm still not sure if that's him on the right side or what angle he's facing or whatever...

I like the concept though.. maybe trying something other than solarization? And thinner lines?
