Naruto grown up?

I've always liked the idea of seeing anime characters grow as the series goes along. I would especially love to see this happen in Naruto. I wonder what naruto would look like as an adult. It kinda like dragonball and dbz. One continues to another. I know it won't be for a while until something like this might happen but the whole purpose i think of Naruto is for naruto himself to reach his lifetime goal of becoming Hokage. I admit it is interesting, but when i think of it especially when db/z is made mention of i can only see bad things. yes we know that there obvious similarities between naruto&dbz and i just wouldn't want to see naruto go down the route that dbz went. i know it won't happen but what if naruto grew a tail out his ass just like goku did http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/blink.gif

apart from that, we've seen choji, shika and ino's dad so i guess they would look somehing like their dad's (except ino...) and umm sasuke may look like itachi.
and well naruto's got no father...but i can picture him looking a bit like the 4th. hopefully then he still makes us laugh.

I like the growing up idea, it would seem strange to be me for Naruto and Sasuke to beat Orochimaru and Itachi as they are now, for them to become that much more powerful there almost HAS to be a time-jump or two. (Just a couple of years each time, like in Dragonball.)

well i thought about it for a while and decided that they are going to HAVE to illustrate naruto reaching his lifetime goal in one way or another. i also like the answer from animemaster about naruto heading down the same path as db/z. i don&#39;t know if anybody remembers this show but it was called Reboot. it used to be on Cartoon Network a LONG time ago. It was CG animated and in the later part of the series they characters enter a time warp or sumthin (i kinda forgot) and the characters were in another dimension all grown up. i&#39;m jus using this as an example as some characters in a series can grow up and the series can still rock.

Would be cool if Rock didnt look exactly like Gai, but had his own style. Like the hair he had when he was younger, plus maybe a new outfit, and Taijutsu that surpasses even Gai. Awesomeness.

I used to watch this when I was what? 8, or something. Man, I totally forgot about this show, used to love it. I remember they ended it by killing my fav character tho, and the little kid grew up to be the next main character, or something. Completely forgot bout that show, it ruled. At the time, anyway.

I dont understand why EVERYONE keeps talking bad about dbz i downloaded it like 3 months ago (its gone now btw) and i thought it was a very good anime i liked it alot. i culdent wait for the next ep i was sitting in my chair watching the download rate and getting really exited when the speed increased and even i think that it was pathetech(or how ever its spelled). I was so desperet. even more then on naruto. Luckely i dident have to wait every week like some ppl. The show was already over when i started to download it so i cant imagen what some ppl went through.

well i can&#39;t actually act as the speaker of all the dbz grudgers but i can express my own. i mean when i first started watching dbz, i absolutely loved it. i&#39;m sure many had the same reaction. as the series went on the same scenario was happening over and over (power up, fight strong guy, power up, fight strong guy). Naruto on the other hand is a totally different story. The story is refreshed many times over either with new characters ex: Jaraiya, Gaara or different events. In my oppinion, the idea for a exam to go up to the next level such as chuunin is very refreshing with the different stages such as survival, prelims etc. one major reaccuring theme in anime is &quot;SAVE THE WORLD.&quot; i&#39;m getting really annoyed of that theme which dbz expresses countless times. I&#39;m sure others have different opinions about dbz but keep in mind that this is a Naruto thread not DBZ. I jus wanted to clear it up a little bit and keep it on topic.

WTF?&#33;?&#33; have none of you noticed that naruto and the other kids do grow older thru out the series??? check all the kids back in ep1-5, and then watch some of the latest eps again, quite an obvious change in height and the age they look. they are around the age of 12 remember, so around that age your appearance changes dramatically over a couple of years.

I completely agree with that...
They DO grow older but in a normal way, i seriously hope they&#39;re won&#39;t be a cut in the story then a part where we see them like 5 or 6 years later, that would suck.
Dbz is different...If Toriyama didn&#39;t do that, it would have been hella boring...He added new characters that way...
