Even the artwork is pretty bad.. I've heard people say 45 was bad, but at least the characterss looked more or less proportioned right.. in 65 they don't even keep a constant form through a scene.. Ino/Gaara (shudder) .. and Choji actually looks slimmer.. heh

Don't any of you remember when they did this just before the Rock Lee/Gaara fight, all the animation was all crappy for a few episodes before and then BAM! They went and produced 48 possiably one of the sweetest looking episodes of the series, maybe their just saving up money by using cheaper animators so they can spend more on the next 2-3 episodes.

I still think ep 45 was way worse in quality simply because it was an action based episode... I can tollerate more dialogue heavy eps with crappy animation to ensure all the action eps have sweet animation...

I guess we wont see an AA release to quickly since theres an new ending ... the next (1 hour special) ep looks sweet... it'll be good.

Dont be too quick to judge, altho there are some REALLY retarded parts in the animation, such as the dildo knife and gaara fishbowl scenes, most of it aint too bad...I liked the part where sasuke appears with his awesome theme music.

Sasuke's NECK in some scenes, the two gamblers talking to gaara (looked like ass), Gaara's eyes were often way outta place, and the odd expressions kept for the longest time by some of the characters. The only ones who looked decent were the Kage's, and something was REALLY off about Genma.

Don't you remember Naruto Episode 45, that was awful... Bad animation, Naruto 45 was the fight between naruto and kiba.

This week episode was done by a Korean studio that did episode 45.
True, it was horrible, but these guys doing a full episode is rare. They are cheaper than some of the higher quality animations studios.
While it is annoying, just be happy that these guys don't do Naruto every week.

yeah ... i think that in 1-30 the good team made the episodes,because they weren't in time trouble back then... now its one episode a week i think thats very difficult to do... thats why they also have some other teams... but i prefer waiting 1 more extra week for good looking episodes :S

This was worse than the old GI Joes! It really would have looked better if they had just added voices to a powerpoint presentation of the manga. But just how could they have run out of money? Isn't Naruto wildly popular? It is on primetime, right?
