Naruto the only genin who wants to be Hokage?

It seems like Naruto is the only genin (or at least the only talented genin) that wants to become Hokage. Everyone else seems to have their own agenda. i.e. sauke wants to kill itachi, or Shikamaru doesn't really care about anything. I don't know much about any of the jounins but if Naruto even becomes a half decent ninja in the future I think he will probably have a good chance of becoming Hokage. ????? What do you think?

I guess naruto just hasn't thought of it that way...
Naruto doesn't want to become hokage...just the strongest ninja of konoha...

Naruto`s sole dream is to have everyone aknowledge him...the only real way (he sees) to do this is to become Hokage. I reckon Neji and Sasuke are powerful enough to think of pursuing Hokage.

Naruto is looking to be acknowledged, and have the most power. To him, Hokage represents both those things.


It's also a driving force for him to succeed. Combine this with his promises to Lee and Hinata, his rivalry with sasuke, and his feelings towards gaara....it gived him alot to feed off of.

Naruto will become Hokage, he has the power and his the way he fights as said it the last EP is with out giving up and testing him self and he does this as if it was nautral to him, and another quality that 3rd hokage point out that a hokage has to be willing to protect all his ninja as if they where all is his family and naruto has show this a few times already, He protected so many and fights for there honor as well as there lives seen in many eps. the driving goal for him to achive this will to be recozide and not fear for what in him, but the fact that he want that strength to help others. I bet Naruto is almost a mirror image of the 4th hokage and the 3rd hokage see this and so did the guy that taught him the to summon the frog.

but seriously i think this whole hokage thing is kinda dumb.. its not really a position that people compete for, its not all that glorious, i think its just to make the townsfolk feel safe

you dont see people challeneging the 5th to deathmatches daily, now do you?

lol Naruto would make a horrible hokage. With the kyubi I&#39;m sure he&#39;ll be the strongest, but not every has instant heal like him. He would make plans that would send normal or even highly elite jounins to there deaths.

yah narutos not much for the diplomatic leader type...
as you see in the whole zabzua saga he gets way to involved in whats happening on a personal level, and then makes rash decisions that would normally fail, but by some stroke of pure luck succede

in other words hes a great fighter, but thats not what a hokage is, a hokages a political leader that the other ninjas turn to for advice... and naruto just doesnt fit that very well... yet.

Am I the only one who thinks naruto would become a great hokage.
You all are whining about naruto and his demon fox but his true power lies elsewhere, its his ability to change people and encourage people. That is where his strenght lies. Just watch the end of the first exam for example, even the examiner there says when naruto didnt give up he changed everyone, he changed neij , hinata and in the future you will see more of that ability and orochimaru will even fear that power of his.

But I do think, they should&#39;ve put more rivals in it . Naruto seems to be the only one, and besides all people we know from up-close, also those that serve the Hokage dont seem to be after his potition.
