Well i'd have to say Naruto... Sure he isn't using much speed (well, a lot of speed but nothing compared to Lee). But Naruto can use his kyubi chakra and turn it into speed, and if he does, that speed will go beyond Lee... That is what i think.

First off, nobody knows the full extent of Kyuubi&#39;s power. Saying that Naruto used less than a millionth of Kyuubi&#39;s power is pretty excessive, though.

If Naruto used Kyuubi&#39;s power &quot;properly&quot;, Konoha would be in an uproar.

Yes, he did have trouble with Neji, even after using Kyuubi&#39;s power.


I think that fight was pretty sissy. Instead of thinking of a way to cleverly beat Neji, he taps into a 3rd party power to win. That&#39;s like asking for back up. Sissy thing to do, indeed.

So far from what we&#39;ve seen I&#39;d say lee but not because he&#39;s my favorite character. I think he&#39;s the fastest because no one could keep up with his speed. When Sasuke was fighting Oro he could keep up with Oro&#39;s speed. When Naruto was fighting Neji, Neji could follow Naruto and dodge him. While he didn&#39;t use a bunch of the chakra, he used a bit. But he basically ran into a bullet. its not that he used it wrong its just that he ran into such a devasting move head on.

and anyway, rock lee is fastest by far.

I don&#39;t think Neji is as strong as jounis because it would make no sense training with his teammates. And they say that he has inherited the most Hyuga bloodline limit than possibly anyone. BUT that doesn&#39;t make him a jounin level genin. They say he is talented, that he has enormous RAW potential&#33;

I think you should have added Haku to the voting list also. He was so increadibly fast when he used one of his jutsus (the ice wall thing?). Even Sasukes eyes were only hardly able to even follow his moves. And Sasuke definitely had no change to keep up with his speed.

kiba shouldnt even be on the poll. Rock was fast.. for a genin. He&#39;s a genin, people, participating in and looking damn cool in genin battles. Of course he isnt faster than Gai, who&#39;s his teacher (older clone..). Gai has a 1 point lead in his fights with Kakashi. Kakashi knows even at the cost of his own life he can&#39;t beat Orochimaru (watch the episode where Orochimaru shows up while Kakashi is adding the seal to Sasuke.) According to this, Orochimaru &gt; Gai &gt; Kakashi &gt; Lee. Though I think Kakashi&#39;s probably more powerful than Gai once he finishes his one-armed mountain climbing fun.

True. At that time atleast Orochimaru&#39;s goal wasn&#39;t to kill Sasuke but to test his abilities i believe. I think he could&#39;ve won Sasuke by just looking at him, like he did paralyze them later on.

not sure if someone already mentioned this or not, but when lee was doing his extreme lotus, we could still c blurs and flashes.......however, when someone does kawarimi, arent they moving faster cuz u can&#39;t even c them (and lots of times, we&#39;ve seen even elite ninjas such as kakshi and anko being tricked by kawarimi, indicating that the speed is incredibly fast)


so, anime wise, what indicates faster speed? blurs of movement or the sudden vanish thing?


ps: theres also the dbz style vanish, where u c horizontal lines when the person vanishes.....i believe naruto does it during the neji fight
