If you compare naruto manga and anime you'll see that the manga is deffinetly 1-1.5 year ahead of the anime if it's going to continue in this slow speed?, i don't whine just think that they should have a smaller gap between manga and anime?
What do you guys think?

well, a normal episode covers about 2 chapters, so that is not a problem. the problem of naruto anime is that ist not really the anime you are watching, but the manga. the manga has a slow speed, but mangas dont get bothered by that. anime's do. the anime was never adapted to the style an anime should have, and it contineus the same pace as the manga.

wait, this dousn't really imply to the topic, does it http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

as i said, the rate of 2 chapters per episode is good. in 1 year, the manga will only be one half year ahead. and in abot 2 years the anime will have cought up. im happy its gonna take a while, cuz i rather read the manga than the anime http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

I would have liked the manga 10 times more with color, why isn&#39;t there any color in the mangas http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/mad.gif </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>
Almost all manga are in black &amp; white because using color in manga costs too much.

And it&#39;s a good thing the manga is so far ahead, because when the anime catches up it will most likely end.

mana is never in color (well almost never). personally, i think the &quot;special color pages&quot; the manga has sometimes suck. i think black and white is cool. color is something I can imagine myself.

and wtf happend to your posts http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/dry.gif

Yeah, perhaps it would be the best if mangas were produced like a novel. Say once a year, or maybe even better still, only sold when the story is completed. That way impatient people like us will be able to read the whole story in a day or two.(I know that we could)

I imagine it to be like reading say the lord of the ring novel, I am sure alot of people would be pissed if they did the same thing.

However manga is special, its literature that is broken down in tiny pieces, if its good it will keep you asking for more, if its bad then its bye bye. A lot of planning is needed by the author, because its basically extremely difficult to reverse the story after it happened. So despite it being slow, the story still is tight and have some unpredictablity(eventhough with sooo much prediction going around) and is generating lots of interest as the story progresses.

Perhaps a time jump would indeed keep the interest level even higher and less speculation on what the author is doing during the week. I am sure he is eating and breathing Naruto, afterall he is the one living person who is doing a original manga called Naruto. (he might have borrowed ideas and formats here and there but if it is interesting and good, I say keep it coming)

I thought the whole haku thing in naruto was making it go to fast, but to each his own...

The anime also adds in lots of filler, that slows things down even more. All we need is drag out no jutsu in every episode.

I bet that episode 65 gonna be really dragged out... maybe they just talk about shikamaru&#39;s decision about giving up and the introducion of kakashi and sasuke... maybe the fight dosen&#39;t even start...

You dont watch the anime for story, you watch the anime for entertainment. Even the so called &quot;filler&quot; material is entertaining and usually adds depth to under developed themes or characters.

If you want story, just read the manga. And if the anime ever catches up with manga... its bye bye good naruto. Drag out no jutsu will be kicking in full steam ... this is what happened to dbz during the freezia and buu sagas... totally killed the series.

the anime wont catch up to the manga so reasons such as this one

Temari vs Tenten was complete in 1 page of the manga
in the anime it took an episode

Please don&#39;t make it like that DBZ fight Goku v.s frieeza. They wasted like 5 episode of of them talking and powering up.

it can also get worse, think about Kenshin episodes 64+, the creators saw how profitable the anime was so they decided to make up thier own storyline instead of doing a 2nd season once the jinchuu arc will be completed.

from what i know, those parts had full armor knights and Nazi&#39;s running around in japan...

There&#39;s 2 manga chapters before the fight starts. So even if they don&#39;t add filler the fight most likely won&#39;t start in episode 65 (Ok, It&#39;ll start, but at the very end of the episode.)

It just seems like the anime is slow because we like it so much and can&#39;t wait for each new episode.

It doesn&#39;t really matter to me anyway because I have entire series of anime that I haven&#39;t even looked at just collecting dust on my hard drives. I wish I had more time to watch all the anime I&#39;ve collected. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/sad.gif

um, manga=kishimoto
anime=not kishimoto
kishimoto doesnt care for anime, he does manga.
manga came out 2 years before anime did.
