Kazaa isn't any good anymore is it? I tried using it, but found that there were barely any ppl acting as hosts on it anymore. Hell there was barely anyone on the entire network. Probably due to the fact you need an updated client in order to find everyone now, and you also have to pay to use the fasttrack service now.

uh... you could try using other networks, other than the DC++ stuff. I tried DC++ and i didn't like it myself. =P

try Shareaza. It uses the Edonkey 2000 Network, as well as the Gnutella and Gnutella2 networks, and even the Torrent Network. If you put it on Power mode, you can search through the specific networks rather than all of them in general if you wanted. Check out the info Here ('http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3948'). Or simply download the program Here ('http://www.shareaza.com').

well i use kazaa lite, and there is 3 million users, and 4 million GB of files available. Still works perfect for me, but maybe we arent using it for the same stuff.

Meh, i use K++. It's a modified version of Kazaa Lite, with a tracker so you can see all the hosts and choose which one you want to connect to and things.

My host file must be really out of date. I think a LOT of ppl dropped when Kazaa got tracked by the governments. Meh... Kazaalite eh? hm..... Thing about Kazaa Lite, it still has annoying spyware crap on it. (sigh).

Maybe i will have another look around then. Maybe i can find something better that can access the FastTrack network ^^'

Im using Kazaa lite K++ also. I am also running peer gaurdian blocking government IP's and whatnot. If you are running zonealarm, that actually hindered my connectivity alot when i had it. Connections are much more abundant since i removed it and turned off the services it had installed in administrative controls.

hm... I don't use Zonealarm... could be just my version is too old or something. What version are you using? ^^'

If it's a more up to dat eversion than mine, i don't suppose you would mind either emailing the client or PM'ing me your MSN add, so i can add you and get it that way? http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/happy.gif
