I've had the same problem as seng, and I have DivX, but now what do you do?

If I were you I wouldn't download the codec pack there sometimes are spyware attached to some and you only need to Xvid and Divx codecs for most anime but if you want to take a chance. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/mf_plasmawhore.gif

K-Lite codec pack has no spyware (just like Kazaa Lite http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/wink.gif) and I like it more than Nimo because it's updated more often

Actually i wouldn't trust a codec pack either. Most of the time modified versions of the original codecs are included inside a codec pack, and although they may work better on some things, it's compatibility rating goes way way way down. So it will result in more problems in the future instead.

You want DivX, and Xvid and WMP9 codecs. That's all you want and all you need. It's all i have installed and i have never had a problem since.

Before you asked the question, did you try changing the codec it uses from xvid (or vice versa) to DivX (or vice versa)? You can achieve this with the AviC program in your Xvid directory. I've said it tons of times so i guess ppl are sick of hearing me say it. It won't solve everyones problems, but it solves most.

I dont really trust anything on the internet, but the fact is u gotta do what u gotta do, if u wanna watch anime then ur gonna have to grab a codec pack or select good codecs that u want http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Huoh... You propably have the codecs to it... If you download codecs to your computer, media player will auto find them and use them. And by the way, they aren't codes, they are codecs...
