i like this vid alot http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif the music kicks ass (who is it by?). this is nicely done for your first, better than what i could do. some of the clips don't seem that good of quality, and theres a lot of subs in the clips. other than that, well done http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Originality: another rock lee / 1 fight amv with no story and hardly any editing. its just the entire fight with other music. if people wanna see the fight, they can watch the anime itself. the best part about an amv is that you can create something new to the anime, and enhance the feeling of it. not that i can blame you, cuz this is tipically something you can expect for a first vid.

quality: for a 60 MB file, its still avarage quality video and audio. try experimenting with diffirent compressors.

syncin: well, there was hardly any syncin imo. it looks like you just put the entire fight in a row, hoping for a tone to hit sometimes. sometimes it does, but that aint gonna cut it. some transitions in it, but they don't fit in, imo. im not a huge fan of transitions.

effort: you could have at least tried a little bit harder for your first vid. when i made my first one, i tried my best to time as much as possible, because it was lacking in originality. but this looks like a 1 hour job that you did cuz you had nothing better to do.
also, you could have got rid of the subtitles. its fairly easy to do, and a vid without subs is 10 times more enyoyable.

overall: same as ahnonamis, 5 out of 10. but for me, that is because its your first. if this was your 2de, i would not have even bothered. though its far from being the worst vid, it just isn't enough.

It's a lot better than my first one (my first AMV was very blurry, I guess it was the 20mb size video of Berserk i was using http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif )

Anyway, one thing would be you use a lot of raw clips. Like you just take 30 seconds of fighting and put it, then another 40, then 20, etc.

Also, the video doesn't match up with the music very much. There isn't much synch between the two. That's where it would help if you use short clips and edit them together and such instead of just long ones.

Third, the subtitles can get distracting http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/mf_laughbounce2.gif

One of the things I liked though was how you used good transitions when you did switch between the clips. Most people would just blend them so it slowly changes or an abrupt change, but you actually put some work into it.

I'd say it's a 5/10, it's good for a first one, but I don't think you would want me to give you more points just because of that. You're much better than most of the first attempts at music videos though, so that's a big thing.

Ditto, it's really boring when you only use one episode of the anime, but not bad for a first. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Man, that's tight. Makes me wish I could find the one and only AMV I ever did. But alas, it is lost (most likely forever since I probably deleted it cuz I never did finish it). Nice job http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
