^^

But if he did fight without his main weapon, i think it would be more suspicious.

Once again, everytime there&#39;s a freakin episode without a battle half of you people insist on calling it &quot;filler&quot; or &quot;boring&quot; or whatever. Holy shit&#33;&#33;&#33; The series isn&#39;t ALL FIGHTING. Episode 63 was a great episode&#33; I mean, think of all the &quot;BORING TALK&quot; accomplished:

It really wrapped up Neji&#39;s struggle well, now we know thew truth behind the Hyuuga....

We got to see the towns reaction to Naruto&#39;s victory...some girls think he&#39;s cute, and Sakura gets a bit jealous..

We got HUGE hints about the Sand/Sound Plan, and we know there&#39;s something important about Gaara&#39;s match with Sasuke....and we know Hokage suspects Kazekage now...

That&#39;s alot for 20 mins. Suck it up and quit bitching, it was awesome.

this episode is crap. Why does Kankuro forfeit. He could of beat the other guy w/o using his playdoll. Who will win the fan girls or the shadow boy?

Kagari
Tue, 12-23-2003, 03:43 AM
he forfeit because the sand are planning an attack on the city. I think something was supposed to happen when garra was fighting, based on what kankuro said.

He probably wouldn&#39;t be able to beat shino without his puppet, either. Shino&#39;s pretty strong.

Í agree. I think it was great too. It was so nice to see Naruto getting acknowledged by the audience... http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/smile.gif He really deserved it. I also like the &quot;conspiracy VS Konoha&quot; story, and how it develops here. Really interesting. But it is dissapointing not to see Shino fight though... http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/sad.gif

Btw Assassin if he looses he might be so damaged that he cannot fight in the &quot;plan&quot; later... And that would be bad...

There is nothing wrong with good, wholesome DBZ&#33;

As for the topic, Kankuro isn&#39;t as strong as that. I reckon Shino may have beaten him.

@rekkashinobi : ????DBZ is ALL action, no text at all lol...go watch some if you only want action, naruto has something called a &quot;S T O R Y&quot; that&#39;s why they have to explain stuff^^
Btw i found the episode cool, we learn some things like, how did they know gaara/sasuke would be before kankuro, kazekage must have made the list for matchups...
Interesting http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/smile.gif
A bit long on neji at start maybe...but he may now become more than just a dumb elite...

63 was a bit junky, there was a few interesting bits here and there though. I wanted to see Shino fight though. Kankuro is cool guy, but Shino is probably even wiser than the hokage, and he is powerfull too. Oh well, I wanted to see Temari fight anyway.

Kagari
Tue, 12-23-2003, 05:51 AM
Oh for sure, I was realllly looking forward to seeing Shino fight&#33; I think the match between him and Kankuro woulda been a good one, too...

Shika better beat Temari before sundown http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif or else his Shadow Copy will be useless&#33; Unless the stadium has Lights http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

It wasn&#39;t really an eps. I waited that long for.. but hey it&#39;s naruto I just need to see it.. Mucho talk in this eps, not much action but that&#39;s ok.. The story is great so we learned more about the characters in Naruto.. Glad Neji knows what happened that day.. Well.. let&#39;s all hope and wait till next week.. Shadow boy is gonna defeat the fan girl, just watch http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/mf_laughbounce2.gif

doesn&#39;t shikamaru create his own shadow?

If that was the case, if it were dark out, temari wouldn&#39;t be able to see his shadow http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/unsure.gif

hmmm... but the doll seems to have some hidden secret? remember the guy thought? &quot;i can&#39;t reveal kankuro&#39;s hidden weapons at this time...&quot; thats more likely the reason he forfeit i believe... maybe kankuro is another sharingan type doll? it can copy the whole person? hehe just postulations.

Because obviously he&#39;s built something into the puppet that will be released as soon as he uses it, something that&#39;s important for the plan. He&#39;s built it in since the prelims.

I hope no one thinks I&#39;m an instigator, but I&#39;m more interested in the backstory of how this episode was subbed.

</div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (Ultimate DBZ of Naruto Chuushin)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>I&#39;m not entirely sure how much of you are regulars on IRC, but there&#39;s a fair amount of drama going down in relation to the newly-released episode 63. To make explanation simple, I&#39;ll just say that AonE has more or less given ANBU the finger as far as releasing episode 63 goes, and went solo. Starduck (leader of ANBU distro) didn&#39;t exactly take this the best possible way, and has decided to postpone (perhaps indefinately) ANBU&#39;s release of Naruto episode 63.

I find this to be a fairly unfortunate turn of events, especially considering that ANBU does the majority of the work involved in subbing Naruto, to an extent I&#39;m personally appalled AonE has the gall to make such a move in the first place. The future is a bit shady currently, but I&#39;ll try to keep you updated if I hear any groundbreaking news. The episode 64 release next week will be the tell-all, I&#39;m sure.</td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>

Is this true? Can anyone from the ANBU team confirm this? If AonE is giving ANBU hell then ANBU should probably just do the subs themselves (assuming they have access to the raws).

I don&#39;t think that Shika&#39;s Shadow Bind jutsu makes a real shadow, it&#39;s like, an artificial shadow that Shika creates, or some kind of chakra even, that lets him bind the opponent. I don&#39;t think light has much to do with it, actually.

I agree. That his jutsu that create the shadow, becuase he can move and change the lenght of his shadow about any light intervention.

Surprised it hasn&#39;t been mentioned yet but they did foreshadow something that will likely happen while Gaara fights Sasuke. I think it was someone in the crowd that shouted &quot;Come on, it&#39;s nearly sundown&#33; We&#39;ll be here all night&#33;&quot; Throw that together with Sasuke being late and his match being postponed til later.. Which will probably be nightfall.. Remember what happens when there&#39;s a full moon with Gaara? I&#39;m sure that has SOMEthing to do with their plan. Unleashing whatever it is in Gaara that comes out in a full moon.. And since no one but the Sand sensei, Kabuto and the now-dead Dosu knows it exists, Sasuke would not have known to prepare for such a thing.. Prolly get beaten down pretty good http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/unsure.gif

As for Shika.. He doesn&#39;t create a shadow.. he takes his own and molds it how he pleases. He has no control over any shadow but his own. At night, he&#39;d have nothing unless a light was shown brightly from around him somewheres. I doubt a shadow cast by moonlight would be substantial enough for him to Shadow Copy someone with, unless it was a very bright moon.

what&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; think about it, all shadows r is places where light can not reach the surface of objects, if the sun sets, it means the light from the sun cant reach the stadium...which means the entire stadium is covered in one big shadow
..thats a good thing for shikamaru....

Everything I say on Chuushin is true. I&#39;m part of ANBU&#39;s official distro team, and I talk to starduck and/or darkboarder personally to get this information. It&#39;s not 3rd-hand friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend information, or something equally as unreliable.

Well, this episode just proved (at least) one thing.. if a group of ninjas (who didn&#39;t care what status they were) didn&#39;t want a certain ninja to be a Chuunin.. then all they could do is say, &quot;I forfeit.&quot; That way, even if the certain ninja won the tournament by default, he couldn&#39;t become a Chuunin, because no one would have been able to see his skillz.
