Ok. I've worked out that altogether, up to episode 62, there is about 25.8hrs worth of entertainment time.

I've been trying to watch the whole series, from beginning to end. I admit, i can't possibly last that long. I've been taking 5min breaks practically inbetween every episode to grab some food and a bottle of coka cola. I also grabbed about 5hrs of sleep (i know... cheating =.=)

But this is my challenge to you. mwhahaha... best thing to do is sleep early, then wake up early and start.

I want you to try to watch, all 62 episodes! First take a screen cap of your desktop, displaying the starting time. Then watch the anime from beginning to end until you've finished all 62 eps, and take another screen cap indicating your ending time. Then host them somewhere, and put links here. Let's see who could watch the most Naruto, with the fewest breaks eh?

I wonder how much Naruto you can really stand hm? You say you love it so much, but can you really watch so many side by side without feeling a little suffering?

(Well actually, so far i haven't suffered at all. I've actually enjoyed it, apart from a little ear ache and headache from using the headphones for so long.)

For those of you who are too busy, such as work or study. No problem, i understand totally. I mean, not everyone is as sad as me =P

Hehe, that has also passed my mind earlier, but I'm one of those who just don't have the time to do that. And secondly, I'm not sure would I enjoy watching Naruto for 25 hours? I'm sure I would if I hadn't already seen all of those episodes at least two times (and the best ones propably five times or something like that). Well, let's see if someone is going to complete this (crazy?) Naruto marathon http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif

I would have tried that if hadn't seen any of the episodes before... but now it would just be repetitve since I have seen some eps more than once.

lol. Fair enough.

I'm actually quite surprised at the amount of people who gave a positive response to this. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/happy.gif

I'm still trudging through mine. I didn't get the screen cap at the beginning though, because i hadn't thought about it until like episode 37 on the second run. o_o

i would not mind reading all of the current manga's at once, but not the anime. its a little to boring for me, since the anime is so slow. i would probably give up at 20 eps http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/dry.gif , but i have never read chap 1-50 and i didn't read it multiple times like i did with the anime, so that would be a bit more interesting.

i rember when i first started watching naruto at that time they were up to the point when zabuza died. i watched one - i think like 18 episode right after each other no break at all. i love naruto that much but watching the entire series would be too much plus i work. I did that for the manga though i read the entire manga from chapter1 to chapter 130ish in less then a day.

i am out now, cya later alligator.

Hehe, I&#39;d take on the challenge if I weren&#39;t getting up every 5 minutes to take care of my little boy.

I think it&#39;d be fun to watch the first episodes of Naruto again, especially since it&#39;s been so long since I&#39;ve seen &#39;em.

I&#39;m not sure if I could do it, but I&#39;ll wait until all 100+ episodes of Naruto are out before I start over again. I&#39;ve done something similar with another manga before though: I read all 28 (I think that&#39;s the number) volumes of Kenshin in 10 hours. But since then, I was so sick of it that I never wanted to see it again. So let&#39;s wait until the end of Naruto, before I do something this crazy (I&#39;ll probably drag some poor friend into this too)

And I, the psychotic dude from the crappiest state in the country (California if your wondering), shall take on the challange. I will re-download episodes 1-20 of Naruto, and once I do, I&#39;ll post my day of Naruto, and I will complete this task. http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/smile.gif Heck, I&#39;ll even add 63 and 64 to the list hehe.

hehe. Yeah this kind of thing is quite fun with a couple of mates sleeping over as well.

Just you and some mates, chilling in front of the computer. Drinking bottles of whatever you like, smoking if you smoke, commenting on parts as it goes on if you didn&#39;t mind talking over it a little, and just generally having a great time with your buds.

man, that would be really great... i was almost gonna do something like that at a friends house (it was around the time of ep 50 or something)... i was gonna go to my friends house (who watches naruto too - i introduced him to it http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) and have two other friends watch it with us, we were trying to get them to watch it, but their computer&#39;s sound card isnt fixed... anyways, i could go over to his house, and they didnt watch it cause my friends computer wouldnt work or something...
i might end up doing this next year, when im in university..

Just wondering, with the marathon, is it allowed that you skip the &quot;10 minute rerun&quot; at the beginning of the earlier episodes?&#33; Cos that just like watching half of the previous episode all over again~&#33;

Yeah you can skip the intro&#39;s and end sequences, because they just repeat every episode and can take a while. But you can&#39;t skip the previews for the next episodes because they are unique.

Jeez, you&#39;d really have to live your life on the computer to do this thing, that&#39;s why i&#39;m watching epi. 61 right now&#33; so tired, *yawn* need some sleep, almost done, although i kinda cheated through the ino vs. sakura part (way <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:red'>too</span></span> many flashbacks, i couldn&#39;t take it) oh yeah, i probably took an half hour break at about the epi. 37 or so, but still, it just made my addiction to Naruto about sasuk- i mean, six times stronger http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/mf_laughbounce.gif

Okay, you can take 15 minute breaks, but those 15 minute breaks must be spent posting on the forums, in which case you better be 2 levels higher in your posting rank, or spent playing the Naruto gamecube game, or writing a Naruto fanfiction, or desiging a Naruto sig / wallpaper...

yeah, my condolences to your friend. It&#39;s really really a sad thing when that kind of thing happens to a person.

Of course i know you&#39;re joking about your CDs, because they can just be re-downloaded. But all his possessions and his house will be a little harder to replace, also if he took too long to get out, the smoke might of done permanent damage to his lungs.

Entirely made of wood you say? Did he live in Canada by any chance? Just guessing, it&#39;s only out of interest.

Actually, assuming you were going to marathon the eps, it would make sense to skip the intro/outro (except for the first episode&#39;s intro, and ep 26-27). This shaves 3:30 off of each episode.

With a runtime of 23 minutes per show (except for 1 @ 21:20, &amp; 26-27, which is 43 minutes), that&#39;s 63*23 + 43 + 21:20 - 63*3:30.

This adds up to 1513:20 - 220:30 minutes, or 1292:50; which is 21 hours, 32 minutes, and 50 seconds.

Wow, I wonder how many times we went to the bathroom. And I dont feel really accomplished, but I did it, and I feel special. And I have no life http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

I miss the day of marathoning an anime. I used to do this on christmas morning, when I would get a box set for christmas and just lock myself in my room for 9 hours finishing a full series. Ahhhhh.... the good ol&#39;e days

i&#39;ve done this some times i think , when i had nothing to do.

i dont watch each episode seperately.

With windows movie maker or something else, ye can make like episode 1-5 in one big file , cut out the endings beginnnings and recaps.

this saves some hours. and it&#39;s nicer to watch.

yes i know im craaaaaayzeeh http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/mf_laughbounce.gif

I wish someone would take out all the intros/outros, unnecessary flashbacks (meaning something we&#39;ve already seen), recap episodes, and repeat scenes (as in after commercials and beginning of a new episode). All that stuff drives me crazy. If I could watch the show straight without all those things I would die of happiness (if they were all subbed by the same person that&#39;d be great too)&#33; Of course since they keep coming out with new episodes it would be kinda pointless, but still. *sigh* Ah well I guess I&#39;m just dreaming.

Marathon??? Are you nuts&#33; lol you would be so sick and annoyed with the Naruto series.

I know if I tried those intros, the ending songs and flashback no justus would be the death of me.

I know b/c I did something similar with the Trigun, Love Hina episodes. It kind of ruined the animes for me.
