I just notced this, this morning. I was messing around watching a little bit of Naruto season 2. Then, I found out that epsiode 32 is completely screwed up. It can only play in the divx player and not in any of my others but it freezes and goes and freezes again. Then episodes 33-38 is doing the same thing in divx, stops and goes from time to time, they can play in windows media perfectly fine. My winamp play use to be able to play them but I needed a new codec for a certain avi. Well they can player normaly, but the color is disfigured like for example the color of the characters skin is blue! I have been messing arounf with the first problem all morning, the 2nd problem about the color I have been playing arounf with for awhile and I am fed up with it now. Does anyone know what I am going through? I had to delete episode 32 completely b/c it statrted to slow down my system. I dont know what happened. I was just watching episode 32 just a few days ago. I hope somebody can help me, thanks

You said you downloaded a new codec? Perhaps your plays are trying to use the wrong codec for your files.

EG: Whenever my comp tried to play videos encoded with DivX, and tried to play them using the Xvid codec instead of the DivX codec, it crashed Explorer and WMP all the time.

You may also find a useful tool (as referred to in a previous post) Here ('http://www.headbands.com/gspot/'), and 'possibly' another useful tool known as fourcc Here ('http://www.xvid.org/').

For info regarding these tools please refer to my previous posts.

I'd suggest you remove all the codecs from your system. Do this thourghly and also remove all the registery strings of the codecs.
To remove the registery strings use Regcleaner ('http://www.bruinhard.cistron.nl/FILES/RegCleaner.exe').
Then reboot and install all the codecs manually. Please don't use codec packs like Nimo. They will fuck up you system.

I got a perfect Codec pack ('http://www.bruinhard.cistron.nl/FILES/Ultimate%20Codec%20Pack.rar') one my webpage with all the codecs you'll ever need.
Install it, and i pretty sure your Naruto episodes will work perfectly after that.
