Now's my chance to join my beloved magical girls as...a villain? Hang on, something's wrong with my outfit! This can't be happening! Watch this shy magical-girl fan transform into a sadistic dominatrix! When good and evil collide, who will be the one to submit?!"

Yes, I read the seasonal thread. This caters to a... specific audience looking for... sadistic fetish play. Basic story is as nothingburger as any magical girl parody could hope to be as a vehicle to compromise the girls regularly. Animation was okay, and character designs are alright. You know if this is for you.

nefligh, you know you don't HAVE TO make a thread if you don't really like an anime? Guess now we know you like this one :P

I enjoyed that episode, too, though. Nothing of high quality, but something unusual.

Sure, but I like to fish for conversation if there might be any around currently airing shows.

Also, I did enjoy the naughty bits somewhat, so I may continue to watch.

Everytime I watch this I feel like my local SWAT equivalent will invade my place and throw me in a cell far from society....

Good thing they are about to introduce another player. While this episode was still salacious, the main focus, there wasn't much to talk about aside from the teasing.

Aside from Magical Sulfur revealing herself to be a bit of a sadist herself? She hides her real abilities for better PR, but enjoys beating up enemies. I thought that was a good little twist personally.

Also Azure seemed pretty disturbed at the time, but in the family restaurant, she seemed to be learning a bit about herself too.

Utena falling for a trail of porno was a solid gag too.

Episode 2:

Another fun episode. Didn't expect Azure to get corrupted this quickly :D

Okay, Utena was actually rather menacing in this episode.

She's a molester. Give her some years of experience and every girl will understand what SM yuri is...
And yes Azure is hooked, she craves the stuff.
Sulfur probably is a vilain in disguise.
I guess the twist shown in that show is that corruption is a very efficient weapon too.

Lovely episode, mostly because Azure is my waifu. Dat nipple play ;> We really need some dick in there, though. Redo of Healer stays ahead ...ahem.

Still a fun anime, but I wonder what the evil guys' plan actually is. They're not killing anyone, even though Leoparde used deadly weaponry. Wonder how serious things could actually get.

A fair question. Aside from titillations (pun intended), what kind of show is this going to be? Yes, we have the fetishistic play and plenty of handwaving at honestly traumatic events, but is this just going to be played for laughs thoughout, or will Utena's darkness serve as foreshadowing for the tone weight at some point if it decides to follow a more serious good versus evil story?

This episode was a bit of a miss. The whole studying thing was funny, Utena almost losing all her collection because she keeps looking at porn instead of schoolwork, but the remainder of the episode was just very boring. Sulfur is a very unlikeable character because she feels very static; she always wins.

Magenta doing exhibition-play in front of kindergarteners and grade schoolers and their mothers was a bit much, even for a show that is already pretty far over the line. It was nearly redeemed by Azure demanding the details.

There literally exist no boys and men in this world, eh?! Come on, I get that the main characters are all girls. But can we at least have some men reacting to the magical girls getting handled? I need at least that much dick ;>

I enjoyed the episode, though. The first 30 seconds were super sexy, Magenta being embarrased was nice, and Sulfur's special reminds me of Gantz.

Only thing I disliked was Kuro ignoring Utena's need to study. Come on, that's gonna cause some real problems if you don't let her study a bit.

What a weirdly wholesome episode.

Sulfur losing her temper and going on a rage-rant over being humiliated was very satisfying.

Kiwi being sent to horny jail was as well.

The magical girls went full-hentai with Azur, nice :D

Also: We're all going to jail, lol. Making a little girl the most perverted character of them all, oh my. Really powerful ability, though.

Episode 7:

Needs more dick. Man, how much fun a guy could have with these girls >_>

I like the reveal though that other evil girls have been going around defeating magical girls. Quite effecient. Did Azure lose her power?

Baiser did not take her heart brooch. So Azure might be able to come back.

The idea seems to be pretty straightforward/simple: Magical girls need to remain pure, body and soul.
Body purity is related to age and sex.
Soul, well it's all about corruption, carnal desire being in the list, so also related to age.

Azure has been sliding to the dark side for a while, she's loves what she experiences with Baiser.

And of course Baiser loves to torment Magical girls, the moment Azure is corrupted, she becomes trash and she feels disgusted.

That's how desire goes...

What continues to impress me is that this is basically the main character debut for Utena's VA, and she's this good. The shifts between the wavering Utena, the predatory Baiser, and then the moments like this were she is legitimately threatening.

Utena is absolutely the type to be disgusted at Azure's breakage though. Not only does she idolize the trio, she's not interested in slaves, she wants them to fight back. She was already disillusioned at Azure at the beginning of the episode since Azure apparently started getting caught deliberately. She has standards, dammit!

Venalita doesn't seem to care at all. I'm starting to suspect some Kyuubey shit going on with the magical helpers. They don't seem overly concerned about either side winning, only that magical girls and their counterparts exist and repeatedly engage each other. Vatz comes off innocent but has at times seemed like it's the most focused on having Magical Girls producing merchandise goods.

I wonder how the new four "leaders" are going to play into this. They seem more combat-oriented like Kiwi. That said, it also wouldn't be the first time that Utena has needed to bend comrades to her will. And lest we forget, Korisu is even more depraved and domineering than Utena in that regard.

Venalita seems the most pleased with Utena's activities though out of all the forces of Enormita.

Strange that Utena seems caught off guard by masochism when she reads stacks of pornographic material. Utena being upset about a magical girl being corrupted by her own hand (and not acknowledging that) is ripe material for some character development, but it doesn't seem to be panning out in that direction.

With the rest of the OP squad accounted for, the plot thickens! Or rather, the Thicc plotts?

Ryllharu
Thu, 02-15-2024, 04:37 PM
They hinted at the reason Utena is okay with tormenting them but not okay with them becoming subservient to her with the anime viewings at the exhibition.

Utena likes seeing magical girls get beaten down and roughed up, but she expects them to get back up and fight more until they win every time. That's the part she truly loves.

Eps 8:

----------

The evil squad shows up, demands the evil trio join them in world domination, hilarious rejection ensues and the Enormita civil war starts. lol.

And according to 'Lord Enorma,' a cringey self-name title if there ever was one, the number of stars on oneself indicates their power level in Enormita.

Utena frequently has four to six stars on each cheekbone when she's tormenting Tres Magia and fulfilling her "role" in their interactions. That's in addition to the two she has all the time on her horns.

Lord Enorme has no idea who she just crossed, hahaha.

As always, Utena is way more resilient than she comes off in battle.

Most of the cast seems to assume that Utena is weak because she runs away all the time. But since the last episode, we know that's been Utena's plan in every single engagement she does with magical girls. She knows she's supposed to lose, but "barely" escape every time to return for the next encounter.

When she's serious, like with Azure and Sulfur, she escapes direct attacks all the time completely unharmed until the moment is right for the hypothetical script she's following.

It's going to be great seeing Utena absolutely cut loose on evil magical villains she has no need or intent to hold back on, like with Kiwi, but much more severe.

David75

Utena understands that without vilains, there are no magical girls.
She also understands the full essence of a vilain.
Now I understand.
Venalita felt that potential. Utena is fit to become a ruler, the absolute vilain demon lord.
It's often said that a good story needs a good vilain. Like the better batman movies needed very good joker or even penguin...
And somehow she's teaching Azure and the others, how to become better magical girls. Or even become the magical girls she admires.

World domination

I cringed hard when Lord Enormita said that, 4 random girls cosplaying and saying they're going to rule the world. Even for this type of anime, it was embarrassing, lol.

First half was literal lesbian hentai LOL. This airs on regular tv, right? :D

Tbh I just dont care about this drawn out in-fighting. I wanna see Baiser fight the magical girls OR join them.

Hentai it is.

Baiser cares about the esthetics and ethics of magical girls, but also vilains.
Let's see where those preferences lead us.

Episode 12:

The battlefield was a giant, sexy magical girl!!11 :D

That was a fun episode. Only bummer is that I expected them to reveal themselves to each other after all those strong hints that happened. Also wtf, Azure, why would you even allow a massage like that, lol. I don't think I've even seen actual hentai where a girl's pussy gets spread like that >_> Kinda wish they'd make a "with guys"-version of this anime. "With guys" as in, the villains are guys :P

Saucy to the end, and I can't say it wasn't fun... but I struggle to call it good. Super cheap animation, the most contrived fanservice, and a story in no hurry to do anything with these characters. Let this be the end of it. I don't need any more.

Both Azure and Magenta are pretty stupid, so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise.

Azure trusts Utena, considering she's just a meek girl in their class that Magenta likes to hang out with. As for why Azure didn't stop her when it started to get out of hand? Azure has had an "awakening" of sorts since the 2nd episode and despite Utena getting the reassurance she had hoped for, Azure is always gonna be a bit of a...yearning perv I suppose.

Episode 13/FINAL:

Well, shit, now I kinda want a 2nd season. Nice last episode, it wasn't just some filler beach episode, but actually revealed Azure's new form. And I love how it's power by her perverted side LOL.

A world without men is still super silly though

Ryllharu
Wed, 03-27-2024, 05:20 PM
That was a deeply perverted but also wholesome episode. Sulfur has the whole premise figured out and just said it out loud, haha.

It's quite cute that the two sides are honestly quite friendly with each other out of costume. I've always enjoyed that trope in sentai/rider/magical girl shows.

Kaoruko and Kiwi's ultra rude speech with each other is hilarious.

Yeah, I'd love a 2nd season. It's a surprise standout in popularity in Japan this season, so it may only be a matter of time. Despite being low-budget and having inconsistent animation throughout, the series sells it 100%. They did push it with Azure's super-beam though, that's where the rest of this episode's budget went, hah.

This was peak degeneracy.

Izumi Fuuka (Utena's VA) deserves a seiyuu award next year for sure, she went flat out the entire season.

I just think people who think like that are casual anime fans and don't deserve (positively or negatively) the label weeb.

Watching Naruto and One Piece and DBZ a weeb does not make.

If you watch enough anime, stuff like fanservice and lolis become invisible at some point. You either become fine with it or don't even notice it.

Kinda agree.

God, just yesterday I rolled my eyes so hard when some German anime-youtuber who's popular for unkown reasons made an "anime quiz". Over half the questions were DB, Naruto, One Piece of Demon Slayer related. :/ You'd think with 100 anime series airing each year, there'd be more to talk about than the same 4-5 shounen-anime (plus Neon Genesis Evangelion, which these normies use to pretend being weebs).
