Alternative title: Eiyuuou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu: Soshite, Sekai Saikyou no Minarai Kishi
Japanese: 英雄王、武を極めるため転生す ~そして、世界最強の見習い騎士♀~

Genre: Action, Fantasy

Synopsis: From his deathbed, Hero-King Inglis, the divine knight and master of all he surveys, gazes down on the empire he built with his mighty hand. Having devoted his life to statecraft and his subjects' well-being, his one unfulfilled wish is to live again, for himself this time: a warrior's life he'd devoted himself to before his rise to power.

His patron goddess, Alistia, hears his plea and smiles upon him, flinging his soul into the far future. Goddesses work in mysterious ways—not only is Inglis now the daughter of a minor noble family, but at her first coming-of-age ceremony at 6, she's found ineligible to begin her knighthood!

However, for a lady of Inglis's ambition, this is less a setback and more the challenge she was (re)born to overcome. "It's not the blood that runs through your veins that makes a knight; it's the blood you shed on the battlefield!" The curtain rises on the legend of an extraordinary lady squire reborn to master the blade!

Easy to watch.
Main character is cute.
Their strength makes sense.
Humour from her wanting to fight strong opponents works.
Reason why she wants to avoid a mate also makes sense.

Kinda like the girl-version of the Demon King reincarnated after 2000 years show, but funnier, more light hearted.

This girl is basically Goku.
And all the hot chicks have boob windows.
Basically, old king leering at himself is fine, but other men doing it is not okay.

It's his own body, so he has automatic consent.

I wonder if he intends to fight strong opponents even if he knows he will lose? Or is he just gung-ho when it is a winnable battle?

I think it depends on whether or not the thing will kill him. His goal is to get stronger and master the art of combat with his second lifespan. If there's a friendly spar that he'll definitely lose, no harm in fighting. If there's a monster that will kill him no question, then that would go against his goal. I think we will rarely run into anything that the MC will acknowledge as being able to definitely kill him now, given that he's been appraised as a city/nation-destroying level of strong.

Recurring things:
-the food gag.
-smug smiles
-zero modesty kicks.

I'm cool with this. An easy to watch, feel-good show. I don't expect her to actually lose any fights against anyone/thing unless it also uses Ether like she does.

I like the art style of their eyes and lips.

They should have made it so when someone catches up to Chris they get crushed by the gravity field around her.

Haha, they animated Chris's spinning laser exactly like how an aimbot playing on 6400 sensitivity would.

I'm conflicted about whether Seilyn bit Theodore just because that's the only way she knows how to express "no", or whether he's actually a bad guy.

How to make a classic maid outfit sexier? Add enhancing straps.

I'm still in this for the pretty art and light atmosphere.

MC's logic doesn't make a lot of sense though. Brigade leader is currently stronger than her, even if just, but she wants to fight him and the nearly useless Arch Lord together? She mentioned that she hates losing in a prior episode.

The Brigade leader also apparently has higher Aether mastery than MC even though she was the Hero King and was alive at a time when Aether was actually practiced. That's not an impossible premise, but rather highly unlikely and you'd wonder why Brigade Leader didn't just fuck over all the Highlanders when he's so powerful and this Arch Lord is a joke comparatively.

Not that this will matter much more because the Prismer thing now has her attention.

Well that's it. They tease the "What would happen if you prematurely use a morphing gun", but I doubt this would get a second season.

I wouldn't mind if it did though. It's light hearted action and eyecandy, though I would wish they'd go into more about the Highlanders and what happened in the past 2000 years and the loss of Aether usage etc. I thought Inglis was going to use an Aether sword at the end but instead it was an Aether punch. Same-same I guess.
