"* Based on a school slice of life seinen manga by Hiro.

Roubai Private Academy is a prestigious girls' middle school in the country. For Akebi Komichi, donning this school's sailor uniform is a dream come true. Her middle school dream life is finally beginning. Verdant open countryside vistas. The slowly flowing time of youth.

Genre(s):Slice of life

She wants to wear a sailor uniform. That's it- that's the twist. The only way to do that is to enroll in a specific girls school where that is the uniform. Okay. Low stakes, but also portrayed as her lifelong dream? Surreal; that before now she never tried to don the outfit as casual wear? Whatever. Some good animation, and at least two lingering foot/feet shots that would make Tarantino blush. The cute girly energy is there, but without some more non fetish-adjacent substance, I don't know if I'll be sticking around. Sniff on, comrades!

Exactly my thoughts. Foot-fetishist fanservice.
What's incredible is the quality of back round, animation, bodies and their extremities... A lot higher than expected considering the target audience.
But then, no money for faces... That feel awkward. Guess Foot-fetishist could care less.
I wonder if watching ep2 is even worth my boredom... Quality might drop drastically too.

You guys all fail. This isn't a foot fetish show.

This is a general fetish show.

There are also a ton of armpit, thighs, ass, and other shots that are definitely placed there on purpose. Even the hair tying, unfurling, etc. have too much emphasis to NOT be done intentionally for those who are into those.

I definitely found the amount of waki service very satisfying. In fact, I only watched the first episode after finding the waki screenshots on an armpit fetish FB page (the only reason I visit FB other than checking restaurants out).

Now comes the question time-immemorial: can this survive with fetish service alone? I think I see the periphery of what they are going for with the strange shots and animation emphasis, but there is no more tension now that the 'dream' has become a reality, and so the interactions and 'specialist imagery' are all that is carrying this now. I forgot to mention that the character designs feel like they came straight out of 2001, and I don't mean in a good way.

The biggest game companies are big because of their waifu games, not their AAA titles. Just saying.

I have the same questions as Neflight.
I'm not sure I can follow 10 more eps of slice of life all girls highschool fetish angle scenes.
Even more when faces feel so awkward to me.

But I understand some references now. Just that I need comedy, or something captivating to keep watching.

If episode two pulled back the reigns a bit to let it simmer, three opened her up full throttle into voyeurism paradise. Legs lying on sheets and moist lap pillows are the main dish tonight, and I noticed the 'waki' in frame one; Shinta might've liked it.

Some cute nothingness, but they're too young, or I'm too old, and I just feel creepy watching this, personally. It's well made (aside from the off model faces), but I've had my fill, for sure.

I can't unread Shinta's point. So now I watch it like a catalog of fetishes... and I have to say this starts to feel like an encyclopedia !
And I'm pretty sure I miss many references and subgenres.

Am I the only pervy old geezer still watching that show at Gotwoot ? :o
It's really too bad characters are way too young. But beyond that, I'm really surprised with the level of detail they put into body placement, dynamics, 3D position.
I'm no expert but I feel like each sport/position feel very natural or true to reality.
For some reason they spent a lot of effort into all these qualities for a very niche kind of anime. I wonder if it sells a lot of discs/vod/goods. Because it feels that this level of detail costs time and money.
Just pay attention to those tennis serves, body placement, wrists, racket orientation. And then remember all the acrobatics Akebi does.
I know, I'm just trying to find justification to watch this, hahaha.
