"Long ago, Heroes had saved this world. Many Heroes fought against the powers of Destruction and protected the world. Years in the future... The Heroes had disappeared as the years passed and those possessing their powers called Successors now have the fate of the world in their hands. One of the elite Successors known as the Seven Knights is fighting an army of the Destruction when she saves a boy named Nemo. During the battle, Nemo awakens the powers of a Hero even he didn't know about and displays his powers as a Successor. But his Hero is someone who no one knew and no one ever spoke of.

You know what? This could have been waaaaay worse than it is. Original anime based on a card game or some such? Ew. But this was actually very enjoyable. Without stepping beyond what its promotional production can achieve, Seven Knights is plenty good enough to watch if you're jonesing for a teenagers fight demons story. Choreography isn't anything to write home about, but the idealism of our characters shines through and the story doesn't get wrapped up in itself (yet). I like that the characters have pseudo-mentors in their inherited spirits that help guide them to a degree. Won't rock your world, but could fill in twenty minutes just fine.
