Caiman is a person who has lost all of his memories after being transformed into a lizard-headed man by a sorcerer. Living in a grim urban region called Hole, he now hunts magic users in search of the one responsible for his metamorphosis in an attempt to recover his past and his face. Extremely strong and immune to magic, he has the help of his best friend, Nikaido. She is an agile fighter who runs a small restaurant at Hole. Their continuous slaughter of magicians calls the attention of a powerful sorcerer named En. He has his two best hitman, Shin and Noi, target the lizard-man and his ally. As Caiman delves deep into the search for his former identity, he starts acquiring odd clues that lead him into the bizarre magic world.

I had my doubts if I ever read the manga, as I used to grab everything that OMANGA scanlated back in the day. After watching the first episode, I didn't.

So far have only watched the first episode of Dorohedoro, nonsensical to begin with, but awesome and violent at the same time. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series.

Did any of you watch this series from the previous season?

Well, just finished the 12 episodes and loved this series. Hopefully some of you guys will give it a look.

There's an announced 6 episode OVA, but hopefully we'll get a second season as well.

Thanks for posting a trailer. The vibe it gives off makes me regret writing it off without watching last season. I'll definitely give it a try. My hope is that this is an off-kilter action show that is more of what I expected No Guns Life to be...

It's just a fun show with cool interactions, and yes it has plenty of action, pretty good cast of characters.

I suspect most wrote it off because it wasn't on Crunchyroll and no group picked it up. I grabbed the subs from Judas (used anon scripts), but I had to fix the timing of the first episode and change the default subs in a couple other episodes.

If you get those and need those fixes let me know.

To whom it may concern, now available on Netflix US.

This series makes no sense, and it makes no effort to explain how it's world works...

It's also weird because of how the antagonists are almost as likable as the protagonists.

Like, I don't get En as a character, who seems like a really ruthless monster, but also weirdly supportive and protective of other sorcerers?

I don't understand WHY he hangs around Ebisu and Fujita. At first, yeah, he needed them to identify who the killers were. But once he knows what Caiman looks like, I don't understand why he keeps them around.

It's like if Giovanni just hung out with Jesse and James.

You're overthinking this...

I also want to know if Ebisu was always crazy, or if getting her face eaten by a giant lizard MADE her crazy.

A little late, but just to chime in... this is essentially if Tarantino watched two seasons of Jojo on acid and decided "I can do that".

The (lack of an) ending or good closure this season is a bit disappointing, and the story became less interesting during the last couple eps, but it is definitely worth watching... even if you're racist against CG like I am.

Racist against CG..?I assume he means he thinks it all looks bad.

Yeah... I hardly give 3d a fair shake. I just prefer cell drawn (even though that is heavily digitized nowadays, too).

Might want to avoid that word (racist) in the future.

watched this on netflix. really liked it.

I liked everyone there, but somehow liked caiman the least (he had the least to do in this season, i think).

Compared to everyone else, he's a very simple character that pretty much just keeps doing the same 3 things over and over.

Eating dumplings, sticking sorcerers in his mouth and friendzoning Nikaido.
