Aya Asagiri is a young girl who has fallen victim to bullies at her school. First episode of Mahou Shoujo Site is out, and I have to say it's completely fucked up. A bit too unbelievably extreme to me, so a bit unsure, but since it's quite fucked fucked up, I'll keep on it.

So edgy I feel like I have to try to enjoy it ironically, as the 'misery porn' on display makes taking it seriously kind of difficult.

Totally agree. This is cheap misery porn. Why? Because the entire setting is unrealistic. The level of abuse being inflicted on the MC could easily be criminal, and proof is so easy to get nowadays. Smarter bullies use subtler methods. The blade filled shoes? WHY!? You want it to be invisible so it'd cut her feet, not hope to cut her fingers cause she is dumber than cement...

And why is she enduring her brother's abuse? First thing to do when that happens, go to the police...

The premise behind her suffering is too unrealistic. I get that they want her to seem suicidal, but this setting insults people who are actually trapped in an abusive situation but with no real way to escape. The situation in this show is too blatant to maintain...

Like, did that guy really try to rape her? Do they even understand that they can get imprisoned for life for that..? The entire scene was just so... juvenile. The writing clearly came from someone who knew nothing of actual bullying.

And did I mention the MC is dumb as bricks? She just teleported 2 people to their deaths, and she's worried about getting arrested? Instead of... um... checking out her new pistol..?
