Fillers ended last week, figured a new arc deserves a new thread.

Natsu, solos the champs for funsies.
So...I understand why Fairy Tail wasn't at the tournament, but why weren't any of the other guilds that make up all the important ones in the series at it?

Shit...I hope that wasn't the last episode of this run. Now I feel dumb for making this new thread...
Anyway, was a really nice episode.
Man, hearing that main Fairy Tail theme again for the first time since season 1 ended really brings the feels.
Why can't Naruto do that?!

It does look like it was the last ep of the run, unfortunately... I must hand it to them, they won't go the Naruto route by spamming us with fillers for a year before picking it up again. The timegap would've been abused to hell by the Naruto writers.
I can only hope they only take a half a year off or something, don't want to wait multiple years :(

That is like a super weird choice to come BACK from the timeskip for two episodes THEN end the season. Most shows would stop AT the timeskip if they were going to stop.
Of course, Bleach did something similar, where they had the perfect stopping point, but then went one arc past the timeskip instead before ending it.

Mavis <3. I could have watched more of that. I felt a bit emotional during Zera's parting.
FT disbanding came out of nowhere, and if there's no signs of a new season I'll have to start reading.

I am sure there will be another season later on.
