Shows where the main character has a hover board have an unfair advantage over shows that don't because I enjoy them so much (its got handles!). The first half of the episode bought another, as the second half felt generic. All of that motion and dialogue to get me engaged and hyped for... stop me if you've heard this one... finding a girl that is most likely key to something important. And Mechs that battle to cliff-hang the episode. Hopeful but not optimistic.

This series hasn't attracted me so far, so I'll wait a few more episodes and see more reactions to it. By the looks of it the rest of the week might be quite slow with anime releases, so if that ends up being true I might give it a shot at some point then because of nothing else.

Last season was already unbalanced. But the new one seems to be worse it's true

All series seem to be airing from Friday to Sunday, at least ones that I may be particularly interested in.

This might be worth watching if the hoverboard remains prominent. Quite generic looking otherwise.

This guy's hoverboard makes ZERO sense.
Like, you hang on and do a squat while you're driving? And you're supposed to somehow steer while in that position?

Plot points were all over the place.
Childhood friend's fiance tries to run them off the road? Wtf?
Somehow survive falling 50m into a whole, and they didn't even land in water?
Soldier guy in mech decides the best way to capture these kids is to dash at them like a madman instead of being like "Hey... you guys okay?"

Overall, I'm somewhat interested in what is going on, but not that much. It at least gets episode 2 from me.

Reason to not watch this:

The subtitle is perfect for the occasion.

That was a funny scene. Quality assurance is strong with this one.

I was at first wondering what's the point of those war time flashbacks, but as it has become increadingly evident that the place they are living in is governed by a military junta, it started to make more sense. It's just a pretty weird constrast between how prosperous and peaceful the beginning looked like and how things really are, with various military and possibly paramilitary groups trotting around in mecha and waving guns, threatening and kidnapping people with absolutely authority, with no worries of consequences. In that sense I find it a bit annoying how naive the main character seems. But perhaps that's why the girls keep falling for him, both human and alien.
