I'm looking for Kurau Phantom Memory subbed by Sora, and haven't had much if any luck. All torrents are dead that I've found. I even installed eMule to see if I had some look getting it there, but so far I've struck out.

I'm at home at the end of the week, will check which version I have... meanwhile, good luck finding the right one.

No luck, lost 2TB of data to a brand new WD drive... and that was my only copy of my "early days"...


False alarm, my sata to esata desktop adapter seems to be flawed. The disk is ok.
But Kurau wasn't inside. Will take some time for me to find the right disk...

Sadly, I have the AnY version... and it was stored on an old low capacity IDE drive (why did I put it here, I wonder...)

Oh well, thanks for trying. I'll just cross my fingers someone shows up on eMule then. At least I managed to get one episode today. :)

I finally got my hands in the Sora version of this series.

If anyone is interested in it, let me know. It's up somewhere for download for a limited time (as long as there's interest here), then I'm deleting it. This version is very hard to get, quite rare to find right now, so let me know and I'll hook you up. Take advantage of the opportunity.

From the fansub versions (not the rips), I'd think they were the better ones. I never liked AnimeYuki, couldn't trust their translations, so never bothered with them in this particular series. I had watched the Sora version, and that's the version I want to archive around. What I recall from Sora though was that I didn't like how they timed things, but I choose translation over pretty much anything and I could trust them more than AnimeYuki.

Also, I have a very soft spot for this scene in the anime which includes an insert song with karaoke. Might be my favorite anime song ever. Of course it has some spoilers, very sad scene accentuated with the song chosen:
