That filler episode ended mid-scene, so I don't know how the next episode can't also be filler.

So was 417 filler or no? I'm just starting to dl the new canon eps now.

417 predictions taken from other websites:

Kakashi tells Obito he's the back up in the flashback, and then the final five minutes are canon with Obito telling Kashi he's the back up.

I think we might get back in canon after just 8-10 minutes, but even in the remaining 10 pages of ch. 666 we have a lot of flashbacks, so they could easily stretch those 10 pages to 10-12 minutes by adding more filler flachback scenes to the canon flashback scenes

For those interested, only the last 5 minutes of 417 seem to be non-filler.
