Alternative title: トリアージX

Plot Summary: At first glance, Arashi Mikami appears to be a normal, albeit socially awkward, 17-year-old high school student. He's actually part of a secret vigilante organization known as Black Label, a group dedicated to executing power-hungry criminals the law refuses to deal with; however, taking down a crime lord isn't always an easy task, and there are bound to be consequences for any action...

This is the action-packed story of the trials of Arashi and the people close to him. -MAL

*yawn*

From the creators of Highschool of the Dead, but this setting is way more boring. Being the institution of assassins who take out criminals they're already a powerful force. There is no tension like the zombie apocalypse in HOTD. Boobs abundant, but quality > quantity. The lack of a Busujima-tier character on introduction hits hard.

I'll drop this by episode 03 if it doesn't pick up. Highschool DxD might be a better boob show if I really wanted one.

Highschool DxD has degenerated.

I wish a Cross Ange level boob show was around for this season.

I really dislike the protagonist's face design. It's like a poor man's Kazami Yuuji. I think he looked a lot more like the HoTD guy in the manga.

Triage X is a very bad adaptation of an already bad manga.

This wasn't even good ecchi. The blurred animation looks like it was from 2005, the performance of even the decent-to-good VAs (and there aren't that many here) sounds like they OK'd it after the first take regardless of quality, until about 70% of the way through the episode when it starts to improve. The art is grotesque instead of titillating, the breast motion comical, and the action was a disappointing dull sputter.

The manga is at its best...cheesy. But still sometimes fun. This anime is purely bad.

I remember the days when Xebec was good. I also remember the days when Xebec was merely bad. Now they are abysmal. This was more pathetic than when Gonzo was deep in their own freefall.

Did somebody mention Gonzo's dark ages? I gotta see this, then.

Edit: Well, this is a first. Grievance with the flotation devices aside, I'm actually disappointed that a show is slightly better than I expected it to be. Not quite bad enough to be truly awful, and not good enough to remind me of more worthy fare; Triage sits in an uncomfortable, dry mediocrity that makes me really take notice the few nice things on screen* while I zone out of the majority of its frankly uninspired production.

*enjoyed the little mood riff that began at around 9:18.

This is Guns and Boobs the Animation : Retarded

Walk away, now.

And now I'm pissed that someone took that concept of Triaging and Medical themed linguo adapted for combat ... in order to do what exactly ? Just take a shit on it ?
For those who are wondering : Triage X is a Japanized version of Charlie's Angels seen by a premature med student.

Keep on walkin'

I'm just watching for boobs to shake at bullet dodging speed as a certain other character did.

I actually like the design for the white haired girl.

The bomber-idol is the only interesting character in my opinion. It didn't seem like she took the task overly serious, and given that it is so ridiculous and the terminology they use is stupid (as Inazuma pointed out), this seems to be the correct attitude.

She also reminds me of heavily of Minnie May Hopkins from Gunsmith Cats, which can't be a bad thing.

The rest feel far more derivative.
- Cool beauty sniper...apparently directly out of HSotD
- Cool beauty swordswoman (a more mature version of Busajima)
- Heavy weapons in a fetish outfit (Sure she likely an actual nurse)
- Angry, self-righteous, too-serious female lead that we've all seen everywhere and is no doubt...a tsundere.

I'm not saying that Oriha is all that original either...she's an idol who is secretly an assassin, but at least explosives is something different, and certainly riskier given her daytime profession. She came off as the much needed comedy relief character. Having the BSDM pervert son listening to her music was a nice, subtle way of revealing her other profession before the no-explanation fire escape performance that otherwise makes her look like an annoying wannabe idol.

Well it's been three episodes. What do I think? It's watchable.

Sure this didn't start off as well done as HOTD, but I think it ended up getting to around the same level (as in, HOTD dropped too). Insert at least two more likeable characters, get the medical fancy terms out of my face and it will serve as a forgettable tits-and-action show for a season or two.

What could make this worse?

1) Pantsu flashes everywhere
2) Eyecancer quality upscales

I'm spoiled for tits and ass shows ever since Ange. I watch this, but I don't think it's watchable.
