Looks like this is the title of the new Justice League movie. Ben Affleck as Batman looks pretty badass, but it will be ruined once he talks or takes off the mask. Also, it's a little too dark and brooding considering it's a crossover with Superman and other heroes:

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman?? She doesn't have the body for an Amazonian:

Yeah, my first worry was/is Affleck as Batman, not because of him actually playing Batman, but because i'm having a very hard time picturing him as Bruce Wayne.
Also agree on Wonder Woman... Gal Gadot is nowhere near the physique of WW.
I like her as an actress, but as Wonder Woman... not so sure..
And lastly we have the new title... couldn't they just have stuck with simply "Batman v Superman"? I know they probably threw this "Dawn of Justice" shit on there just because this is some pre-'Justice League' buildup movie, but it just sounds stupid.
I'm still excited to see how this turns out, and maybe they'll surprise me and i'll absolutely love everything about this movie, who knows? :)

I'm hoping Affleck uses the gravel voice that Bale used as Batman. I also hope we don't see much Bruce Wayne in this movie, especially with Affleck as Wayne.
Maybe all these negative aspects will give us low expectations going in, and the movie will be better than we expected.

This is not the justice league movie and it's the shittiest, most disrespectful title imaginable for a Man of Steel sequel; part of me doesn't even want to watch this anymore.

That`s... harsh. Why the hate? is it because it seem to feature Batman as much as Superman even though it`s a Superman sequel?

I can't wait to watch Warner Bros continue fucking up. Man of Steel was so shitty and I'm confident this will be even worse with Gal Gadot as WW and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

I don't understand why Hollywood insists on using big name actors in roles that would make almost any actor into a big name. It could be a career maker for a small time actor, instead of a distraction because the actor is too big for the role.

Awesome! I love the Frank Miller/The Dark Knight Returns-inspired heavy armor of Batman when he faces off with Supes. But without synthetic kryptonite, how can Bats even hope to challenge him?

I hated Man or Steel for many legit reasons. I don't know how I feel about BvS. Sounds like a rushed project. I mean I could see Jesse Eisenberg as Lex, I don't see myself taking WW seriously. I think Affleck can do the Batman justice. I don't know... if it's like MoS, I will probably dislike it after watching it.

Well it won't be an origin story with untimely flashbacks and self-identity angst, so that's a positive start. I think those trailers for MoS set expectations too high. With BvS, the trailer makes it look like it will be good, but with Batfleck and the other casting choices, people are expecting a disaster so maybe it will be good or at least better than we expected.
I don't like Jesse Eisenberg as LL. He doesn't have the physique or presence that I expect from the character. I'm willing to give WW a chance since GG is hot. Here's a picture of her alongside the two leads. She looks to have filled out and put on some mass for the role.

I'm willing to give Jesse Eisenberg a shot at Lex Luther, I think he might give it an interesting edge to that role. Other than Smallville, we've been used to an older Lex Luther.
Both the actor of Superman and himself are of the same age, so having a younger Lex Luther in the movies as compared to other adaptations could be interesting to see.

Omfg what a way to spoil everything. I had no idea wonder woman and doomsday where in the movie and how Batman and Superman "reconciliate" or that they even did, it was 95% likely but they could do it in a way that it wasnt a true reconciliation or with some twist, dunno whatever better than the bs of lets unite to fight the crazy evil luthor that created the most powerful being in existance.
Basically they just ruined the whole movie for me. I have no words. I want to write all the insults I know right now. Damn.
ps. its clear that im the green dog here so I take down the warnings and suggestions. I leave the rant so ppl can see how delisusional I am.

Careful. Spoilers of the teaser and the movie! Dont keep reading if your "virginity" is still intact.

A warning on a movie trailer? Sure, OK.

Silly question, how do you know they spoiled *everything*? or was that an hyperbole?

If you had any idea what Justice League is about then the reveals in this trailer shouldn't be a big surprise since the movie sub-title is Dawn of Justice. Did you think the entire movie would be about the conflict between Batman and Superman? That's understandable since the previous trailer and internet talk was mostly about them fighting. But the Wonder Woman part was also a major controversy over the actress selected to play the role so we knew she'd be in there too.
From the trailer it looks like Luthor resurrects General Zod to destroy the world.

When I want to see a movie I try to not dig deep in it. Not that avoid any contact just that I dont dwelve into forums and discussions over what is going to be shown.
I read about the ww controversy but one thing is to know that a character is going to make an appearence and another is to know when is it going to do it, how, why, in relation to what, etc. I wouldnt rage so much if they shown her siloutte for a brief moment, or give a glimpse of the shield or whatever cause we knew she is going to be there but this trailer answered 90% of those questions and whats her role is going to be. maybe she was going to stop sm from killing batman and side with him, or have her own agenda/grudge. Maybe it could be luthor using her against both of them or maybe she is from the night watch protecting the wall. Uncertainty is golden in any work of fiction. Now I have 0 of that and that is sad for me. Terribly sad.
Also answers why bat and sm are going to "join hands", how (and why) luthor is going to piss them off and what tool is he going to use etc. And yeah Dawn of justice is a pretty big hint about what this movie is going to be the foundation of but I cant explain to you whats the difference for me between expecting something and having a 99% certainty of what is going to happen step by step.
Good is going to win against evil. Heroes will save the world. Batman and Superman will fight together. We all knew that. Problem for me now is that I know (to a ridiculous extent) how they are going to do it, why, with whom, against who and what.
This movie has 0 appealing to me right now. Maybe it was naive of me thinking that we had a small % chance of getting something "different", some surprise or some plot twist but now that % is almost 0. And dont ask me how I know there wont be any, Im sure they provide with the usual (100% expected) ending credits scene, that sheeps will call "surprise".
Its just me that I had my hopes high and expected too much from this. So yeah you are right I should hide in my cave and not make a fuss about this. Sorry.
Wont happen again.

I think you're seeing more in the trailer than is there. I only see that SM and BM will fight each other, then join together (as we knew they would because this is the Justice League prequel), and who the villain is (which was already confirmed). Also we see WW join them but we knew that would happen. To expect only a silhouette or cameo appearance in the trailer is kinda silly since she is one of the main JL characters. Expecting a surprise twist in this movie is also naive since it is a setup movie.

I watched it last night. I enjoyed Jesse's version of Lex more than Kevin Spacey. Almost as good as Gene Hackman. Batfleck was pretty good too. Cavill's Superman seems so rigid to me, even the way he speaks. I still don't like his version of Superman. As clark he looks smaller and in the Superman suit CGI or something but he looks 10x bigger...
The story jumps around for the first 60 min then seems to slowly find it's pace and footing. Gal Gadot as Wonder woman was mind numbing for me. I think they tried to play on her non-existent sexiness way too much in this movie. I don't think I can take her seriously as Wonder woman. Overall 7/10 only cause of Batfleck and Lex. Other than that it's like a rehash of Man of Steel which Snyder promised it would not be and it was....
I wish someone would actually create a monumental version of Superman and not these weak ass 'Heys lets make Superman weak for half the movie instead and show our audience he can be human and normal too'. JUST NO! N O N - O If I wanted to watch a Superman movie with Superman not being Superman, there's 50 other movies playing at the exact same time with the exact same story but for HUMAN mode. I hate how Hollywood keeps screwing up the Superman story. The source material is already written for the past 70 years.
It's not good and it's not bad either.... watch it while tossing grains of salt over your shoulders.

This movie was terrible. The entire conflict was so forced, my eye got strained from rolling too much.
The effects were fun to watch, though.

I loved the movie. It really was a movie for fans of the comic books, which resulted in casual fans being confused by whatßs going on.
Loved how Wonder Woman was introduced. First as a random women, next scene she gets closer to Bruce, then she´s revealed to be WW and enters the fight. That´s all that was needed. And I didn´t expect this movie to already tease the upcoming future events with Darkseid, wow.
The main conflict between Batman and Superman was fantastic, I love this ruthless Batman. Only gripe would be his inconsequential fighting style. Felt like he could have killed Superman several times, but waited for too long.
Worst part was Louis Lane. Why is she here? Oh, and Gotham being visible from Metropolis? Were these cities always THAT close to one another? lol

This, but the entire fight was inconsequential anyway.

The plot was super forced, but at least it was a good enough looking movie. I wasn't bored watching it, either.
I was missing a "They have a cave troll" line in Sean Penn's voice when the monster first appeared, though.

Yeah, Doomsday´s design is way too similiar to the LotR´s cave troll. Was a bit embarrassing to watch.
Still, I´m super looking forward to the bluray release. Will be the first bluray in ages I´ll buy. Super stoked for the 30 minutes director´s cut.

Watched it a few days ago, and honestly I really enjoyed it. Batman was badass.
Not a perfect movie, far from it, but critics' opinions, as always, completely overblown.
As for Lex, as I understand it, he's not the usual Lex Luthor, but his son... so something to keep in mind when comparisons are being made. Though, in the end, probably inconsequential, but at least some context to keep in mind.
But in all, I thought it was a solid movie to watch, and entertaining. Can't wait to see more of Batman and Wonder Woman in all honestly.
