The Reward (http://vimeo.com/58179094) -- So this is the short, and it is amazing. It is super cool and everyone should watch it. I dunno if it's been posted elsewhere, but we can always use another sharing of it.
The guys who did that animated short are trying to raise money for a TV series project. This campaign is only funding the first episode, but I am more than excited for even one episode. I know tastes vary, but I think these guys have a lot of potential with the world/characters and especially the animation. This is animation driven and created by animators, not studio producers. The animation is the focus; which doesn't mean it lacks compelling narrative, but just that its a lot more enjoyable than most contemporary commercial animations.
ps. Do we have a general animated shorts thread? (I know we had an indie anime (shorts) thread I posted a couple times in) If we don't, then we should totally get one. But that's a thread for another day (at a date when I have more time I would love to make/contribute to such a thread.) (My apologies for all the questions. I've been gone too long and don't have time to peruse the forums.)
I know we believe in free content here, but this is contributing to the generation of new content; not paying out for licensed stuff. So pirate on you parsimonious anime purists, but drop the link around for anyone who might have cash.
