Shinta can't access Gotwoot at home

Something's Up !
Someone (probably complich8) changed something (probably a DNS entry). You should check again in however long the DNS timeout is (which should be about 3 or 4 hours).

It has been 3 days since he was able to access gotwoot from his house. I have not encountered this on my home pc. Should he change something in his internet setting? Thanks!

Clearing history worked for me. Although I was away only one evening due to it. When DS mentioned the next morning on irc he never had any problems, I checked the forums from my phone and they worked perfectly. That told everything that needed to be told.

Something stupid like this is definitely something Mozilla should fix. I only use Firefox so I don't know if other browsers suffer from such idiocy.

I had that same problem, wasn't able to access GW for like a day and a half until i tried Internet Explorer instead of Firefox and it worked, so i cleared the cache in Firefox and it started working fine again.

Well assuming you didn't use the other browser to access gotwoot for a while, it'd be the same thing as clearing history/cookies/cache. I don't remember which of those holds DNS info, most likely cache.

I had the same problem. Couldn't access the forums on Chrome for days. Then though, "Hmm, maybe I got banned."

Opened an incognito window in Chrome and was able to get in fine.

Read this thread, cleared my history, and now it works again in non-Incognito Chome.
