A totally awful episode. I would only recommend this to my worst enemies (if I had any). It was also unnecessarily gay in depicting Guy and Kakashi's relationship. Not to mention all the preaching. There was absolutely nothing positive about this episode, and the next one looks no better. I will skip next week and then have a look at the longer Kabuto filler arc, and if it sucks as much as this, I won't touch Shippuuden before it returns to canon.

Seriously though, why did Kid Kakashi have a different VA? He didn't in Kakashi Gaiden.

I assume this Ran character that they've never shown before is implied to be some kind of relative of Rin's?

i think the manga skimmed through this on purpose so the anime team would have plenty of real material to develop upon for some good fillers to buy some time
