From what i understand Itchigo just used a Quincy technique. And since Bach want's him to join it would seem that that's the reason they where observing and testing Itchigo. They know he has either the ability to learn/absorb Quincy techniques or he has Quincy inheritance (from his mother maybe like some speculated). That's probably how he escaped. He awakened some Quincy power and escaped.

Anyways shouldn't analyse it further as it just make less sense. Better to just go with the flow.

Remember when we used to kid around how Ichigo just needed Quincy powers now for the whole package? Kubo's been reading the forums.

LOL this chapter was full of LOL though in some weird way I like it. I am enjoying having an overpowered main character!

I wouldnt be surprised if he actually does this. Back during the Heuco Mundo Arc people on 4chan used to joke that Stark would be so edgy he could shoot wolves out of his guns.....lo and behold...

I remember seeing that Stark thing and being like "LOL that is ridiculous"...then it really happened -_-.

If you didn't know Ichigo was going to develop Quincy powers this arc you must have missed that for the Shinigami arcs, the Vaizard arc, the Hueco Mundo arc and the Fullbring arc Ichigo also develops and perfects the powers of the new guys each time.

I'm pretty sure Ichigo will turn out to be the Spirit King all along.
