I just realized that the backstories of the Gold and Silver brothers actually makes the entire Twelve Guardian Ninja filler Arc completely plausible within Naruto world.

At the time we were all "So infusing someone with the Kyuubi's chakra makes them into a new Kyuubi Jinchuuriki? That makes no sense." But apparently that totally works.

I thought this ep worked quite well, and I'm somewhat surprised I can say that about scenes with Iruka and Naruto. I believed I was beyond bored with that pair.

The Barrier corps was funny. It's a bummer that they just used SSJ to explain how he got out of shadow-bind though.. instead of our generic interpretation of "My chakra overpowered yours!".
