Couldn't find a thread for this show so decided to make one just incase you guys have missed this gem. There is supposed to be a Web show and an upcoming movie with the same name. This has nothing to do with either of them. Episode 10 which was the season 1 finale was aired last Sunday. If you haven't i urge you to watch this show. I thought it was awesome.

A Canadian show airing on Showcase. The 3 main characters are mentioned in the description. I haven't seen any of them except Victor Webster before, but didn't know him by name. Tony Amendola (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0024593/) is probably the most recognizable actor and he plays the Liber8 founder. William B. Davis (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0205657/) (or cancer man/cigarette man from The X Files) has a small part as the future Alec Sadler. He might get more screen time in future seasons.

Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a Vancouver City Protective Services officer, is transported from the year 2077 to 2012 when eight ruthless terrorists, known as Liber8, attempt to escape execution through time travel.
With the help of 17 year old tech genius Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen) and VPD officer Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster), Kiera must survive in our time period, and capture Liber8 before they can alter the course of history and change the future.

This show is excellent. I was worried season 3 would be weak compared to the first two. So far, season 2 is the best, but season 3 is awesome too.

I stumbled across Continuum through a quote in this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25qT-HqgLYw)*. I can't really explain why, but it fascinated me, and I just had to know who said it. Once I figured out the source, I read up on the series, which only piqued my interest even more since it dealt with time travel. However, after watching halfway through season 2, I became bored.

The premise was exciting, and I truly enjoyed most of the twists at the end of season 1, but I just couldn't maintain interest for the rest of season 2. I don't know if it's just because the pace felt slower, or I just didn't like the direction things were going, but I found myself struggling through some episodes. Regardless, I'll finish it eventually.

That being said though, I really liked the characters, and their interactions with one another. Also, the relationship between a select few... Even though some revelations were predictable, it was interesting to see how everything started.

The first two seasons are on Netflix, by the way.

*The quote, for those that didn't want to listen to the song: "The only thing more powerful than money is knowledge. Through this spectacle we'll wake the public from its complacency, and teach them to think for themselves. The Revolution starts here."

How far did you get through season 2? I won't spoil, but things happen, and the show picks up steam again.

According to Netflix, the last episode I watched was 5, which, according to the synopsis, was the episode where she almost had a breakdown because of her son's birthday, and it triggered a psychiatric evaluation program that jeopardized her position on the Liber8 task force. I don't really remember anything else from the episode, but I have a vague idea of the events that have happened up until that point.

I liked that episode, but it gets better for sure.
