Bleach is like Gundam. Unless you see a head fly off or their still beating heart lying right next to them, chances are they aren't dead.

Also how is Kenpachi the only one with a confirmed kill so far. You'd think Old man Yamma would have at least 3 to 4 under his belt by now. He should've been there before Kenpachi in fact.

Finally, the boss is probably a Quincy/Soul Reaper hybrid who happens to be Ichigo's grandpa.

Kenpachi is just uberly strong when he doesn't even have a bankaļ. For different reasons, he should be very difficult to manage for those Quincies.

He didn't even took his eye power cap off to get that kill.
Although I guess the guy in black is there for a reason, probably to manage such uncertainties.

The Old Man was not really convincing when fighting Aizen. He would probably need to use his Bankaļ to have some hopes getting to the level, but he'd lost it. So I guess only Ichigo and Kenpachi remain.
Oh, and some some unknowns like past espada, Urahara and the likes.

Or we'll just get kuboed again

If there is one constant in Bleach, it's that Kenpachi does awesome shit.

I've been volumizing my bleach chapters (volume 27-55) and been reading through them again, made me remember somethings and made me mad about some others.

so, anyone remembers Kon? when was the last time he appeared, and what happened to him?
as far as I remember, we saw him when Ichidad came out and saved him, but that's it.

He's gotten screen time in the fillers of the Anime. In the Manga, however, he's just disappeared.

more questions.. we know that Uruhara's assistant was the vice-commander of the large guy from the vizards group. but who are Uruhara's two child workers? did they appear in one of the flashbacks? do we know much about them?

Not quite. Urahara's assistant, Tessai, was the head of the Kidou corps, and the big fat Vizard was the 2nd in command of Kidou corps.

The two children one seems to be some kind of created life form (the girl). The boy who knows. That's going to be another untied portion of the story, I'm sure.
