I love this show. Seinen romance is one of my favorite genres. I also love the character designs. It is very difficult to pull off a cute look with such short hair, but Rokka is great.

Bah, don't classify this show into such a vile category. The dead have no rights! Except the right to not have their grave defiled.

I also felt like this will be one of the best shows this season. Just the sheer lack of kids make it refreshing. It also doesn't hurt the main character looks like the minor nanpa dudes and bullies from the streets in shounen shows. He might be a coward to a degree but he still has some attitude.

I'll definitely keep watching unless something unexpected happens.

I loved that part. It really betrayed expectations, and is more realistic.

Hazuki really has mastered the way of words... But yeah, forgetting the ghost this felt realistic after the usual shounen fare. Still, unexpectedly quick, story wise. I thought it would take at least a couple of eps more to get to that point considering the dude's shyness and the interventions by the ghost, but then again, it ended up failing, so this is just more drama. In the bigger picture the real result of this incident might only end up being Rokka realising just how much younger the dude is.

It's about time that ghost started showing some balls. If you're going to haunt something, do it properly dammit. Also, I think I'm getting a little tired of her crying, insensitive as that makes me.

I think that makes all of us, including the 2 male leads.

I still find her cute even when crying though.

The monologues in this show really tug at my heartstrings. I also love the fact that Hazuki is keeping all the plants he bought from Rokka. It shows how much of his recent life has been devoted to her.

I don't blame him for not allowing the dead guy to possess him. Realistically (LOL), it would be terrifying to surrender your body to another entity, especially if there is a huge risk of it stealing your body completely.

I think he was in an "I don't give a fuck" mode after failing to woo Rokka successfully. He tried his best and failed, so must have thought "why does it matter if the ghost got a chance, I blew mine anyway."

That too. It's to do with his slump that if he couldn't get Rokka at the park, what's the point of doing anything else in life. If he was sober he wouldn't have done that, but drunk and rejected.. I can see that.

As I see things, the body renting can't be permanent. It might be the energy needed to control a body is quite high and he'll have to stop at some point.

It's just so weird that Rokka might fall for Hazuki when he's controled by Shimao. In the end Hazuki would probably gain from this, but in a weird way.

I'm sure he'll try eventually, possibly when Rokka's softened up and warmed up to him, and it becomes something she wants to believe. Right now, it'd just seem like a cruel joke. Regardless of whether he can prove his claims or not, Rokka won't even try to hear him out. His sister might be more willing though.

The idea is to shock her with dates and detail.

You don't ask for her to believe you. Have her ask you "How do you know that?". It puts her in the position to want to know about why you know so much about her past private life (and therefore want to listen) as opposed to have you ranting and her putting you off as a drunk.

Oh yeah, if he's going to tell her, that's how he'll do it. It's just that, when he tries to explain those things to her with "I'm the ghost of your dead husband possessing this guy", she's going to go nuts and withdraw, even if he preceeded the explanation with intimate details of their life together when they were married. The way to get her to want to hear that explanation is for her to experience that Hazuki is behaving a hell of a lot like Shimao, and has been for some time. She's going to want an explanation for *that*, and might actually ask for one. Having been affected by Shimao possessed Hazuki's behavior, her emotions will be where they need to be to hear the explanation and not completely withdraw. If she's being skeptical, that's when he'd start talking about the intimate details.

That was easily the funniest part of the episode.. but that's not a hard feat given how depressing the themes have been thus far. I have to admit that ever since Shimao took over Hazuki's body I've been watching this show more out of intellectual curiosity than emotional captivity.

It's quite simple, the eps flow slowly and yet pack lots of feelings and do deliver strong points and plots.

That was actually pretty damned scary for awhile, until we got some reaffirmation that Shimao has no intention on keeping his body. He's quite the capable asshole though, you have to admit. Took over this dude's body through persuasion and opportunism, cut his hair, changed his style, ran like an invalid, fucked his crush, etc. etc. etc. It's so used up, that if I were Hazuki, I might consider letting him just keep the damned thing.
