Since this is Ichigo and company's first time seeing Ayon in action and that they aren't hard-up soliders types like kenpachi, it's ok for them to be squeamish. Besides no other character in Bleach has Ayon's "Hulk, Smash!!!" mentality so they don't know how to deal with it.

Still surprised about that quincy surviving that attack, though. Any chance that he'll escape and someone will later have a rematch against him; like what Kubo did with ichigo and grimmrow?
