Apparently the Quincy guys killed Yama's nonexistent Vice Captain. I'm kind of mad it happened after he proclaimed that all of his security problems were a result of him being too bad ass to need security. Seriously, he at least better attempt to singe someone before they magically pop out of there.

maybe those things are byproduct of Mayuri's experiments with the quincies? probably bullshit, but maybe it's whatever hollow things that are Rukia's former boycrush.

sure, Yamamato doesn't need a bodyguard, I get that. but doesn't he need a receptionist? someone to set up his appointments and take messages for him when he's out? or maybe he incinerates anybody who comes into his office? that would explain the horrible intelligence Soul Society has.

For some reason I just found this totally hilarious, firstly the idea of him having a receptionist, although to be fair that was probably his lieutenant. But the idea of him incinerating any and all visitors is just brilliant.
