It was otherwise an interesting and pretty good episode, but the end fell flat with none of the mofos capable of escaping the water prisons spawned out of a fricking scroll. Not to mention simply opening an Akatsuki scroll without expecting any traps in the first place. But then again, it was Gai who opened it, so one shouldn't expect anything even remotely intelligent...

I find Kisame's death second only to Zabuza/Haku's. Itachi's didn't hit the note for me, and I really can't think of anyone else at the moment who would rival it. We knew the Mist was pretty bad at the time, but we had no idea whether Kisame or other people indulged or resented the practice. More or less we (or at least I) assumed the latter.

Kisame's death didn't really have any effect on me at all. I mean, the guy didn't really get any development until just now, and even then, it mostly just showed that he was always a monster. So who cares if he's dead.

At least they finally explained why Kisame called Madara the former Mizukage. He wasn't really the Mizukage, but he was mind controlling the 4th apparently.

It also goes a long way to explain WHY the Hidden Mist was so shitty during that period. Because the entire village was being run by someone who wasn't from that village and didn't care about it at all.

Anyway, there's DEFINITELY something "not Madara" about Madara. They've dropped so many hints now about the fact that there's something "weird" about his appearance. I believe more than ever now that Kabuto's unshown zombie is Madara's REAL body.

Most of them are just stupid. They're just standing there listening to kisame talking and running.
Even when samehada sword is walking itself and doing its orgasm thing with bee, everyone is ignoring kisame lol ...and when they look back at kisame, he's gone and they're like "he's gone!!!!!"

I mean what the hell..They're ninjas. They're supposed to know when and where to focus during battles.
