It's no secret that Kishimoto has gotten lazy with his drawings. Compare the first chapter's Kyuubi to the one today and you'll see what i mean.

Despite that, I was excited to read this week's chapter and wasn't disappointed. Its Naruto being Naruto (and a nice trip down memory lane). Plus, stuff always goes down when flashbacks come into the story!

God, I hate this new side of the Kyuubi. Waaaaay to human. Guess "absolute evil" is a worthless title in the Narutoverse.

Anyway, what exactly happens on the last page? Kyuubi-Naruto is trying to pull out the stake from outside and...sends a clone inside the other bijuu´s body to push the stake from there?

That's my take on it. I don't think they showed the clone infiltrating the demon's mouth though, so it's possible that he left at least one clone inside of the 4-tails when he made him puke.

Here's a question, did Naruto ever develop a faster way to gather sage energy? I remember him saying that was the first item on his list of things to master but I don't remember an obvious point at which we were shown that he managed to do so.
