So I'm new to the forums and was figured the "general anime" section was a good place to start. If you had to choose one anime purely based on aesthetic appeal or artistic style which would it be? Mine would be Tekkonkinkreet, the water-colour city-scapes were beyond captivating, I loved the mixed media approach and it didn't have any 3d rendering that offended the senses. Overall one of my favourite Anime-Films.

Kemonozume is pretty damn sexy. It's a stylistic orgasm.

I'll have to check it out :D I see it's by Masaaki Yuasa and I really loved the art in Mind game by him. *stoked*

Sora no Woto's backdrop. Aesthetically it's great.

Death Note. It kinda perfected the, what I call, "traditional, typical anime-artstyle". That, combined with high quality animations is really eye-pleasing.
