I was kinda hoping franky had a female voice pre-recorded to give the instructions "press and hold for 3 seconds" built into his body instead of just saying it while pretending to be a robot. That was the impression I had when it came up in the manga, and it was the funniest thing ever to me.

I was just watching some old One Piece openings and I suddenly realized...

WTF happened to Chopper?

I don't know if I just didn't realize it because it was so gradual or what, but even though he was always small, he used to be fairly normally proportioned!

Now his head is like 3 times the size of the entire rest of his body!

Well, let`s face it, one of Chopper`s biggest role is being the weird ass "cute" anime mutant thing, either Oda or some marketing people didn`t considered him cute enough and took advantage of the time-skip to make him cuter. or maybe he got so smart studying those books that his brain did some fucked up development.

I'm looking at the scenes with him on the bird island, and his head is already twice the size of his body.

I think it's just his new hat that makes post-skip him look x3.

That's why I think it must have happened gradually.


And yes, I get that he's supposed to be One Piece's Pikachu.

Wish they didn't spend so much time on Brooke in this episode. Franky, Chopper and Usopp scene was great! Looking forward to the next episode, shits gonna go down!

Speaking of Brook, I'm kinda glad the Marines know who he is now, because I'm hoping everyone gets a new wanted poster, and I want his old bounty to be figured into his new one.

They are going to get quite an explosive start for the new journey, it seems. I'm not sure if Luffy is actually looking forward to a big fight or if he's traditionally just too stupid to see one coming.

I'm a bit confused, wasn't the hat that chopper wore a precious gift from Dr. Hilruk. What happened to it? The singing was terrible but the comedy was classic.

This way it could be interpreted to be a symbol of being a doctor (first received from Hiluluk) more than just a keepsake.

It does indeed look like his old hat is underneath (or part of?) that giant blue thing on his head..
